Went to this McDonald’s and placed an order in the drive thru. I asked for a medium frozen Coke and then paid for it along with the rest of my order.
Pulled up to the window to pick up my food and the girl there asked what my order was. When I started to tell her (odd because there was only one car in front of me..) she told me they didn’t have frozen Coke. Asked if I wanted another drink. I declined and asked for my money back on that item. She took my debit card and asked me to pull around front. I did so and ~5 mins. later she came out with my debit card wrapped in a receipt and said I was refunded. With no food I assumed she just refunded my order so I shrugged and left.
Headed home, then checked the receipt. She only refunded me for the Coke - so they had about $17 of my money and gave me no food. I drove back and went inside and presented both receipts. After waiting several mins. she asked if I still wanted my food. At this point I was more than a little annoyed and asked to be refunded the rest of my order.
At that point she said she couldn’t do that and offered something ‘free’ instead as well as my food. I declined extras, took the food I’d paid for (and which they’d allowed me to leave earlier without) and left. Taken aback by the level of incompetence / lack of concern + the fact that I couldn’t get a refund for food I hadn’t even received yet. Will not return to this location...
Read moreOrdered a breakfast meal, 1 item at a time. My mistake. She forgot to enter in the hashbrown, so I ended up getting a sandwich and a coffee for more than the price of a meal. The biscuit was stale and hard, and it fell apart when I was trying to eat it. My medium latte was filled 2/3 of the way up, so I asked if they could please fill it to the top. Service person immediately blames the machine, saying they have no control over how much it fills the cup. I asked her if she put on the lid to the cup. And if she sees a cup that is not full, where would she give that to a customer? It was basically a small latte put into a medium cup, someone made an error in selecting the size. Yet she didn't back down. Also, because she never asked me what kind of latte I had, I ended up with a plain latte, when I originally had asked for a vanilla one.
1, I would've liked the cashier to be trained on recognizing that the 3 items I asked for, made a complete meal, and have her charge me for a meal. 2, I would've liked the service person to not blame the machine, and Apologize for the human error.
I didn't ask for any money back, but I did finally have a full cup of coffee. I will, however, not be going back to that McDonald's again. The quality of the food and service there is...
Read moreI double down on what others have said —you will never get your order as you verbalized it. Today’s wrong order was too much though. The screen changes fast enough you can’t confirm your written order on the display before they are telling you to move forward. So forget about accommodating for any language/hearing barrier. When they gave me coke instead of rootbeer they replaced it with more coke. When they gave me a double cheeseburger instead of a regular cheeseburger they corrected the food order but kept the $ difference. 1 happy meal instead of 2. Both missing the sauce requested. Paid full price for both.
Staff was friendly enough about the mistakes saying “sorry for the inconvenience” however no compensation for the mistake was made. I ended up with a drink that I wasn’t going to drink because it was wrong, paid for a beef patty I never wanted, and kids disappointed they had nuggets but no sauce. Location is very convenient, the staff is clearly doing their best to move things quickly but there is a major flaw in this location’s ability to execute. Hopefully they can figure it out! Would love to have this as an option but as it stands, I can’t waste my...
