For no particular reason, I was not expecting much from this restaurant. However, since the pandemic, I've only been placing carry out orders and I am so tired of the same places. I wanted something new. I pass the Garden of Eatin all the time and just never gave them a second thought. Big mistake! I am thrilled I gave them a try. I thought I was taking a chance by ordering their Grilled Lamb entree off their Mediterranean menu, but I did want something different after all. It was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. It came with two sides. I also tried the Spinach Burek (phyllo dough stuffed with spinach). Very tasty! My husband had the Mediterranean Platter. Only $6 for a huge container. The tomatoes and cheeses were very fresh and there were tons of olives and peppers as well. There were even some hard boiled eggs and stuffed grape leaves included which weren't listed in the online description. In addition to all the food being fantastic, the restaurant itself was very nice. Granted, we were only in the lobby to pick up our order, but looking around, it was bright, clean and modern. Plenty of room for social distancing. The Garden of Eatin has definitely won my business. Can't wait to try more new things. The only suggestion I have for the restaurant though...while I could place my order online, I couldn't pay online. Not horrific, but just found...

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and my parents for St. Patrick’s Day dinner, we tried to order corn beef and cabbage naturally following the Saint Paddy‘s day tradition, at first the waitress had no idea what we were talking about and later upon request found out they did offer corn beef and cabbage, two orders were placed. The corn beef came out in the form of sliced lunchmeat because they offer a cold sun version. The meal was heated up in the microwave, the ends of the meat were burnt and curly, if you ever microwave lunchmeat then you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. Applesauce was added to both orders as an additional side, it was forgotten and never brought out to the table, I personally ordered a bacon cheeseburger, naturally the burger was frozen so I don’t know what I was expecting, but again the bacon burger and cheese was all finished off in the microwave. The dinner rolls were warm, however had the texture of being reheated one or two times before, they were very dry and brittle. I’m not trying to bash the restaurant, only give my personal opinion about my experience, yours may and hopefully will be better, but I personally will not be returning.
A microwave, should not be the primary way to prepare or finish off a meal that you are paying over $15 for.
The chicken noodle soup...
Read moreI went here a week ago with my family and it was really good. Although, I went here again today and it was the opposite. For all the money you are paying for this food, you should get a large portion; which you don’t. Don’t give this place a chance. They are expensive and you don’t get your money’s worth. For my western omelette, which I paid 9.50 for, I had to add American cheese on it for an extra 0.75 cents. The peppers, ham, and cheese I had to send out a search party for. The side of sausage I paid 3.50 for was the size of my thumb. If I’m paying over 11 bucks for all of this stuff, I would expect that the food would be a good portion, which it wasn’t. The omelette took up 1/4 of the plate. The hash browns and bacon were undercooked and greasy. The pancakes we bought for 9.85 were so small! I would expect them to take up the whole plate! They were just your average pancakes too! Nothing special about them; they were just bland. We are going to get some more food to eat now because we aren’t full. Anyway, if you are going to come here. It’s not...
