Joyce's Subs & Pizza — Restaurant in Middletown Township

DO NOT GO HERE! ALL DOWNHILL. I ordered 2 salads from here, a Cobb and Cran raisin walnut. The Cobb Salad didn't have eggs on it, cheese, avocado. The other salad had almost no walnuts, cran raisins and feta.

I called and the "manager" told me they were all out of the ingredients and charged me a little less. I told her it was just a plain salad. I wish they told me. I would have ordered something else. She also said that, that is how they always make the salads in regard to the skimpy one.

She said she would remake me another salad, but would charge me extra for more walnuts and Cran raisins. I couldn't believe that she said she would charge me extra for a salad that was mainly lettuce!!!! She said that's how they have always made it that way and then proceeded to say bye rudely and quickly hung up.

I have been coming here for about 10 years and have never received service like this . I will NOT be back. I know that they are selling the place and must have stopped caring about customer service. They lost a customer over some walnuts and cranraisins.

Joyce's has been around in the same location for at least 55 years. They make the best sub sandwichs in the area. They are consistently a good value and a great sub sandwich. The standard foot long Italian sandwich with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, Italian deli meat with oil and vinegar is the model of what an Italian sub should be.
