Another night where I was stuck working in an area I'm not familiar with. I found this little hole in the wall place. What an awful location. If you're not looking for it you'll never find it. I figured this place is going to be absolutely awful or tremendously amazing. Im glad to say it was amazing! I had given up on finding a decent sandwich place in central NJ. $20 for a mediocre sub has become the standard. For under $20 I got a Luigi special. Look at that picture. Nice amount of meat. Not stuffed with lettuce as a filler. Excellent bread. I could barely fit it into my mouth, but fit it i did. This place was hopping too. As I waited for my sandwich, people just kept coming in for pick up or to dine in. The locals know this place is good. That tells you something. Thank you, Mr. Luigi, for standing out as a master sub maker. Hats off to you. Next time I'm in the area, and its not 100 degrees out, I'm trying your pizza, my friend.

Been meaning to try this place for a long time, ever since John Stewart called out Dave Portnoy to try it. Pizza was good. Cheese was sauce were the highlights. Crust was very dry. I am happy I tried it but this is not a high 7s pizza. Not a traditional pizza so hard for me to score it on my scale. You get more of the taste of the bread in ebery bite then anything else. Cheese and sauce are gentle and subtle. Cooked well. I guess i would go 7.1 for freshness, uniqueness, and the sauce. I've had better 7.1s than this but the mix of the 3 puts it there for me. Pick up or delivery only. Outdoor seating available but you are sitting on the curb off a parking lot. Again, worth a try but not a must have in my opinion.

Love this place. Has been a family favorite for decades. I would describe it as hole-in-the-wall Italian. It’s difficult to find as it’s tucked deep in the corner of a strip mall, but it’s worth finding. Ample portions. Hard to find something that isn’t delicious. The Bow Tie Kelly Ann and chicken Diane never disappoint with the linguine and clams not far behind. The garlic bread with cheese is decadent. Salads slightly lacking. The pizza is very good. Large served in a rectangle! The have 2 small dining areas. Both ample for the regulars. We get take out from Luigi’s a few times a year and always look forward to those nights. Great, traditional, down home Italian.

I was about to take an order out... A couple with a child walks in and asks to be seated.. At 7:02 p.m. the kid at the desk said no ....the dining Room Closes at 7:00 p.m..... It's the worst customer service I've ever seen I decide to leave and take my business elsewhere...i Felt really bad for this family. 2 minutes late drove all the way to have a meal

Gentleman repeated himself and said can we please be seated were only 2 minutes late and he said sternly no.....

This family will tell a lot of people not to visit this establishment I don't blame them one bit.

The person who said no was cold had zero personality ...

His ONLY answer was would you like me to call the owner OR leave him a note.. As a business owner myself I believe this kid should be fired.... The people at your business represent your company

some idiot kid in the back cheered him on

I promise you I will not be going back here nor...

oh where, oh where has my great pizza gone...oh where oh where can it be??? So...I lived in Italy for 5 years. We have a saying there. There is nothing worse than a sad pizza. We used to go to Pacini's in Red Bank. They were fabulous. We spoke Italian to make the order. Suddenly...chiuso! (closed). I was sad and searched my head for an alternative. Suddenly I remembered....Luigi's. My friend turned me onto them in 1998 when I moved to Red Bank and I pride my memory at the age of 65! So...the pizza is SUBLIME...whatever you choice is....thin...sicilian or the famous SQUARE....now I remember....that famous SQUARE for dinner after a day at the beach with my BFF and her crazy kids! Although they don't deliver it is an easy ride up Newmans Spring. AND do you know???? That pizza box.... has been the same design at least since 1998 when I was first introduced! Do order. You won't be...
