Another night where I was stuck working in an area I'm not familiar with. I found this little hole in the wall place. What an awful location. If you're not looking for it you'll never find it. I figured this place is going to be absolutely awful or tremendously amazing.
Im glad to say it was amazing!
I had given up on finding a decent sandwich place in central NJ. $20 for a mediocre sub has become the standard. For under $20 I got a Luigi special. Look at that picture. Nice amount of meat. Not stuffed with lettuce as a filler. Excellent bread. I could barely fit it into my mouth, but fit it i did.

Thank you, Mr. Luigi, for standing out as a master sub maker. Hats off to you. Next time I'm in the area, and its not 100 degrees out, I'm trying your...

some idiot kid in the back cheered him on
I promise you I will not be going back here nor...

We used to go to Pacini's in Red Bank. They were fabulous. We spoke Italian to make the order. Suddenly...chiuso! (closed). I was sad and searched my head for an alternative. Suddenly I remembered....Luigi's. My friend turned me onto them in 1998 when I moved to Red Bank and I pride my memory at the age of 65! So...the pizza is SUBLIME...whatever you choice is....thin...sicilian or the famous SQUARE....now I remember....that famous SQUARE for dinner after a day at the beach with my BFF and her crazy kids! Although they don't deliver it is an easy ride up Newmans Spring. AND do you know???? That pizza box.... has been the same design at least since 1998 when I was first introduced! Do order. You won't be...
