Very rarely do you walk in to a place and feel comfortable, and yet rest in curiosity at the layers. It seems like any other small bar and grill that dots towns here in the east. A long clean bar and dim lights. 30 years or so ago there would have been ash trays on the bar I assume- but today all you smell is the good food from the back. The bartender was short, and sweet. I grew up here in middletown and knew about this place and always thought it was a bar i dont know when it changed over to a family restaurant but let me tell ya the food was delicious and the service was friendly and timely. We did wait a bit for our food but it is understandable considering there was only 1 person cooking. It was very nice tho the server lady gave us a remote and we turned on encanto for our kids and they didnt even notice how long it took for the food to come. I will definitely be going back maybe this time...
