Kuppy's Diner — Restaurant in Middletown

Disappointing

From all of the rave reviews I was expecting great food and was let down. The food was decent tasting but very lukewarm. My wifes coffee was lukewarm. You have to at least get coffee right as far as temperature. I've never seen water with no ice (at least that I can remember). My wife ordered baked oatmeal only to find out that it was regular oatmeal that didn't even resemble baked oatmeal. I understand that you might not sell as much oatmeal as other menu items but if not prepared properly take it off the menu. We picked your establishment on this particular day but if you want to see what baked oatmeal should be go to Hershey Pantry. I know I'm definitely in the minority here but I call them as I see em. Maybe I'm not a regular and things are very casual and can get loose on certain days and maybe that was one of them. However, it's good to ask customers if they need a refill especially coffee at breakfast. Maybe lunches and dinners are better but many gave high marks for breakfast. I guess I should know you have to make large batches other then eggs of things that you sell the most of. Not a scathing review just being...

I have not been to Kuppys for several years, just went with my neighbor for breakfast about 3 weeks ago. Oh the food was just as GOOD as it was since the last time I was there! I always did like the atmosphere at Kuppy's the Waitresses are always so nice and always friendly. I'm not sure why a review was posted about our Mayor of Middletown, PA?? I don't think this is the place for that childish nonsense? Go to Kuppy's for the good food and the atmosphere of a good ol' fashioned diner. Google I thought there are policies in place for nonsense like "bashing" our Borough Mayor in a review for a Great place to get good food! Over priced, you know it was 3.50 for one piece of french toast for a child and we ordered bacon for him also and they automatically brought the largest order for a 6 yr old. You can get 2 ,3 or 5 strips that was 3.50 i think maybe more so a kids breakfast was 7.00 to start the a small oj was 2.25 you get my drift 9.25 for that. The food was just ok to boot. Never returning. I absoultely can't stand when they up size to boost sales. Oh most places home fries come with eggs, not here but they will say would you like the homefries like it comes with it to raise the bill.
