Wendy's — Restaurant in Middletown

Pulled up to the line at the drive thru. Waited 13 mins until it was our turn. They were busy. No problem. Get to the window to pick it up, and waited another 10 to finally recieve our order, 3 biggie bags, nothing special. The food is hot and was cooked fresh. That's was a plus. We get 4 mins down the road, and I take a bite of my sandwich, Crspy chicken BLT. The bacon on this sandwich was not strips, or even fresh. It literally came from the bottom of a warming/holding area from breakfast. Looked like over cooked and covered in the white fat grease it was sitting in. I was not happy. You could taste the rancid grease. Someone had the nerve to put that on that fresh food. I called and the only thing they can do is offer me a new sandwich next time I come up. I don't understand why I'd take the chance on that, just to probably recieve the same non-fresh no-effort bacon. I'd rather have my money back. I'm over the whole experience now. It was not an option to give a refund. So I just wasted not only my time, but my money, my gas, my breath. Oh the topper. I called and someone answers the phone with 'hello'. ? I have been in the restaurant/hospitality game for 25 years, and was shook. I instantly asked him if this was Wendy's, he said yes. Where's your manager, he says I am. I’ve never had a worse experience at a restaurant in my life. I made a $30 mobile order, gave my name at the drive through, and was given the wrong order. When I told them they took the food back and said they didn’t have my order. I went in and asked to speak to a manager. The manager only would say to cancel it in the app. The app wouldn’t let me cancel it because the store already processed my order. The manager would not listen to me when trying to explain that they probably gave someone else my order like they gave me the wrong order. He said if I have someone else’s order then I should be happy with that. I told him I gave the order back to the girl at the drive through and he told me I could just call corporate. I asked for corporates number and he refused to give me any more information. He then went in the back and refused to come back out and talk to me. No one would give me any contact information for a general manager, for corporate or any alternative options to help me get my money back. Finally one of the employees just asked me what the order was and made it for me while the manager continued to hide in the back and ignore the problem. The young girls at the counter were far more professional and actually possessed customer service skills. The manager has no business having any responsibility whatsoever so ever if that is how he chooses to resolve conflict. Absolutely...

Okay just a quick review of Wendy's on North Verity parkway Middletown Ohio. I visit this restaurant yesterday, and I placed my order everything was fine and I went to the first window and paid for my food, me and the gentleman at the window had a good conversation and I went down to the next window to pick up my food. I had my dog with me in my car, so me and my dog went down to Smith Park which is right down the street no time at all. I got to the park I opened up the bag of food, and the beef patties on the burgers were old and dark and cold, and the condiments of course made the food even colder. And also, the fries were fried and such old grease that I could actually smell the grease through the bag. They were barely warm. I took the food back, and the original gentleman that was at the first window greeted me again. And I told him I wanted my money back because of the situation with this food well he didn't hesitate he was rather nice about it, but overall I didn't understand why the food was so bad, when they were not busy and at the same time I've been to this location of Wendy's thousands of times the food had never been like this. as a matter of fact, this place was always pretty good. And nevertheless, the food was horrible the people were nice, but the food was not edible. I doubt if I'll go back....
