Very unhappy with the customer service here . I had a plan that I wanted to upgrade to a new phone ok fine they helped me with that got me the iPhone I wanted an hooked it up for me fine but what got me furious was that they got me to do a bundle with a wireless charger they sold me the whole nine yards with it said it will make my plan cheaper and stuff like that so sure if it's going to make it cheaper why not right , that was the catch tho. When I got home I was excited wannted to use the charger wanted to see how everything worked as I'm opening the box I see everything says smansung ? So why if I got an iPhone why would you sell me an android product ? So I go ahead an use it set it up n it doesn't work obviously my thought was of course it doesn't work since OF COURSE I have an apple product immediately I was upset then start messing with the charger an my phone see if it's just me I plug in all the pieces together an I see it lights up I put my phone on the pad that supposedly chargers my phone it then starts to charge so I get a little relived that it works so next day I put my phone on the pad an it doesn't work again after I completely changed everything I then give a call to Samsung myself see if it's a product defect an they tell me it does work with the new updated iPhone BUT you will burn out the chargeing pad so your better off using it only with Samsung phone which I could of figured out myself due to it says on the box in fine print for smansug proudcts immediately I was furious again about the "bundle " I agreed to an on that note they therw in a pop socket that I didn't even know I had paid for they didn't even warn me I was buying that along with the charger so I go ahead and want to return everything , the gentleman who name was Rey helped me that night with the transaction so I go and tell him my experience he then says I basically can't return it unless I return my phone an everything else I had bought I then get upset and say well you lied and said this wireless charger worked when I called smansung myself an they told me to return it he then said THAT was a lie now I know this is their job to sell this they work off commission but as I start to get upset with him he automatically switches up an say it wasn't his sale so he couldn't help me that the sale it was for the girl wasn't here that I would have to come back when she is here so they can do the transaction I was already upset an couldn't take it anymore I refused to go home with a product that didn't work with my phone or a pop socket that I didn't know I bought or even use there was another girl an man in the store listening in the one man said since I bought a bundle there was nothing he could do then the girl took my receipt an starting messing with the computer to look everything up as the other man is trying to give me an example of what I had bought it didn't make an sense to me cause he sounded really dumb he game me an example using a PS4 bundle an taking pieces of the bundle out rather me just buying the PS4 concule by itself at this point I just wanted my money back an my phone I had bought as i was arguing with all 3 of them they then gave me an opinion to get a equal or lesser value to the wireless charger I had bought they offered me a speaker ,phone cases anything to get me to make sure I still had that sale I did. With the lady that night witch wasn't there so ok fine I get a speaker an 2 protable chargers that go with my phone so the lady now this is HER sale I'm making her remember that the lady tells me the chargers are on sale would you like another one I said yes so now I'm at 3 prtoable chargers she tells me I just have to pay the taxes I said fine , I leave an now i look in the bag I only have 2 chargers I'm already still upset they played me 2x now same store long story short I'll never NEVER deal with this store again all they want is to make commissions off of you an get you to buy anything. Read moreHorrific does not even begin to explain the experience we had at this store. Manager JORGE is a thief, crook and he is committing FRAUD. Even T-Mobile is aware of this store. We went to trade in a Iphone 12 Phone that was paid off entirely. T-Mobile states they give you $350 for the trade. Fine. NOPE. They give you 1/2 of that towards the New phone and then they apply that as a credit over 24 months. The other half of the credit you are FORCED to use in the store. Fine. Not really. But fine. He then proceeds to tell us we get a FREE tablet and a FREE waterproof speaker. FINE. Didn't want either but he said they were FREE. My husband asked twice "this Tablet is completely FREE" YUP uttered JORGE He then proceeded to tell us that if we switched to a different plan that we would save even more because we are over 55. okay. No problem Anything we should know about this plan ? NOPE uttered JORGE. Well, JORGE neglected to tell us that the NETFLIX we previously had on our account we would NOW lose. "Anything we should know about, JORGE?" Remember JORGE uttered " NOPE" ! He also changed the account I was in. I had the account where you get free NETFLIX. Changed us out of that to a different plan and told us NOTHING about us losing NETFLIX. Remember the "FREE" tablet. I Go home. Decided to check my account a couple of days later. The tablet has a $20.00 service charge EVERY month. I don't know about you but $20.00 a month doesn't equate to FREE to me. NEVER once did he mention there would be a Device charge every month. So apparently JORGE from the T-Mobile (he's the manager by the way) store in Midland Park NJ has sold his soul to the devil because he Intentionally Deceives his Customers. Called T-Mobile and after about 40 minutes we have NO credit for the Iphone 12 I traded in. The $20 charge will be removed from my bill and the tablet goes back. So now this "Manager" took my phone and probably sold it because it certainly did not go back to T-Mobile. Buyer Beware. Call T-Mobile before going to any brick and mortar store. Read moreI went their yesterday to sign up for a prepaid plan for $25 a month. On their website it advertises plans starting at $15 a month. I had just purchased a new iPhone 13 unlocked. So I could set it up with whatever carrier I wanted. The man who checked me in was friendly and the store is very clean.
I was next and the person who helped me asked some questions. Then he explained there are three plans for prepaid. The lowest starting at $40. I stated on the website it states the plans start at $15. He said no they start at $40. I told him again that I was sure they started at that and I wanted the $25 one. He said no, I couldn’t have that. They start at $40. He told me I must of just read internet only plans. He shows me on the screen how they only start at $40 and the internet plans start at $25. I thank him and said I will wait and research it more and be back.
I got home and looked it up again. Sure enough prepaid plans starting at $15 for talk text and data. I went on the chat and asked them about it. The woman assured me I could get a plan for $25 if I wanted it. She apologized for the experience in the store. She didn’t know why the store employee would tell me that there are no plans for $25.
It’s bad business if you have employees misleading customers just to make a higher sale. Will not go to this location again. He made me feel like and idiot and I didn’t know what I was talking about.
The only reason I decided to try again with T mobile is my mother is very happy with the experience she had with them. Plus they were very helpful at another store location. The chat representative was very friendly and apologetic and went out of her way to make sure she could sign me up fast with the plan I wanted.
Beware when going to this location, especially if you are signing up a new account and getting a new phone. Compare the deals online with what they are telling you.
