Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Midland

Where do I begin?! My family and I visited this Church's Chicken today and we went through the drive-thru first. When we came through the drive-thru we were notified by the woman that the drive-thru was closed and we thought that was odd and she told us to come in. When we went inside I saw that the woman was by herself with only one fry cook trying to do everything! The woman informed me that nobody came in and the managers and all the workers had called in and I was in shock!! After waiting over 20 minutes in line with a line full of other people (a lot of people started leaving as well),I decided just to leave because I saw that she was struggling trying to do everything by herself. I called and informed corporate about what happened and a few hours later I got a call from the general manager named Angie. Angie called me and boy was she rude and pissed! Instead of asking me my concern and she started off telling me and asking me why I did not contact her and I should have contacted her before I contacted the corporate office and I could tell she was pretty upset by that. I let her know that how could I contact her when I didn't even get a chance to order nor was I able to get a chance to get a receipt and me being a customer my concern should be more important than why did I call corporate! Mean Angie kept flying off the hinges wouldn't let me talk and when I informed her that I will no longer speak to her if she could not lower her tone and talk to me with respect she told me bye and hung up the phone. I could not believe that this is churches chickens General Manager on North Big Spring Street! I see why they don't succeed and I see why they can't keep any workers because of people like her! I will be reaching back out to corporate and I will be going over her head and hopefully someone will take care of this and get her out of...

I placed an order online for curbside pick up. When I placed my order, I had no idea that I would have to go through loops in order to receive my order. The restaurant was closed. In order to get your order, you would have to go through the drive- thru. I had to wait 15 minutes in the drive-thru line. Once I arrive at the intercom, I was told to drive forward to the pick up window. The attendant handed me my drink. The drink was incorrect. After handing me the correct drink, I was told to drive around to the front of the building. I complied. While I was waiting on my order, several cars passed through the drive- thru and received their orders. One car drove around to the front of the restaurant and parked next to me. I have been waiting for 35 minutes now. Five minutes later the attendant came out with the customers order who was parked next to me. At this point I became angry and I stopped this employee and asked him why this man and others received their orders and I am still waiting . The attendant became very hostile with me and stated that I had a difficult order. What is so difficult about a chicken sandwich and a two piece chicken dinner. Five minutes later I received my order from the same rude attendant. He immediately gave me a rude salutation. The spicy chicken sandwich that I ordered tasted more like a BBQ sandwich. Pulled up to the speaker. Was told to wait 5 minutes. Waited. I noticed the parking lot was full of cars so I asked the woman on the speaker what was the waiting time on the drive thru orders. She supposedly didn’t hear me so I had to ask her the same questions more than 3 times. Then she said there was no waiting time on the drive thru orders so I went ahead and ordered a family combo of 16 pieces with sides bla bla. When paid for the food, the sister told me to pull up and wait in the parking lot that she was going to bring my food out to my car. Parked, waited patiently, saw other customers would come and go so I decided to go in and stand in line with my ticket. So I waited other 20 minutes for a total of over 40 minutes. So by the time I got my order I didn’t even checked what I had got so just took it home. When we opened the box, after eating about 3 pieces we noticed the had only put 13 pieces instead of 16 pieces. Then when we go about to eat the delicious buns that are delicious and they are the main reason why we decided to go there and order. We noticed as seen on the pictures that the d$mn buns were not cooked properly and they were doughy and sticky. I will not go there anymore and I don’t recommend it as long as the place is empty and you have time to jam out in your car while you’re waiting on your food to be prepared....
