So I ordered three donuts, a corn dog, and a matcha boba tea. First of all...the convenience fee for using their ordering tablet when they have no written menu? Shame. They were out of one of the donuts I ordered. I found out about 15 minutes after paying. They asked if I wanted a refund or a different donut. There weren't other flavors I wanted, so I said refund. About five minutes later they come back and say for a refund I would have to re-order the other two. I didn't want to do that so I told them to double the matcha. A bit later they come out and say they've given me four donuts for the inconvenience because they were running out either way. Neither of two donuts were anything I would eat. They didn't even ask, especially after I had requested the third donut be another matcha. What if I had an allergy that I didn't put on my ticket? What if, I just hate those flavors? I mean, I did. She tells me they don't have two of the other donut I requested, I tell her to double up on the other one. She disappears. A minute later she comes back and tells me they're out of that one too. I end up having to pre-order my donuts and get a refund anyway. This all took about 15-20 minutes. I won't get the money back for a few days.
Now for the food: The boba tea was meh, there's better boba tea in Midland. The donuts were also meh, for this price just get fresher regular donuts. The matcha donut doesn't taste like matcha, just super sweet icing. The corndog was...okayish. They need to change their oil or something, and if I pay 50¢ extra for sugar, I expect more than a pepper packet's worth. The cheese wasn't super melted, but mostly fine. The corndog meat was surprisingly good, and the spicy ketchup goes well with it.
All in all, this place is way too overpriced for what it is. Just go somewhere else. Make your own Korean corndog's of you can, they'll...
Read moreI probably won't be back. I visited on 4/11/2023, and was the second person to order. I ordered an original with cheese and a Thai tea. I ordered my food to go, but I was eating it in the car. When I got my food it didn't look to hot, but I was still going to eat it. I don't know if they forgot about my order, but when I bit into it, it wasn't hot, and had clearly been sitting, because I could've choked off of a fried stick of cheese that cooled too much. As far as the flavor goes, it's crunchy, but the batter has absolutely no flavor. The Thai tea, wasn't great, it left a nasty after taste in my mouth. The only reason that I didn't get a donut was because they were all topped with either fruity pebbles, crushed oreos, or marshmallows. They should consider making some with just the plain topping as it comes, like with just the match, Nutella, or strawberry. Lastly, I don't know if they mopped the back and then the front with greasy water, but the floor was a real slipping hazard. You could see that...
Read moreOk so, this is coming from my mom because I don't live there. Her view is coming from trying it first from another establishment, so comparing it to Kokomo is automatic.
Food- she got all 3 options batter was wwaayy too hard. The potatoes were dry on one. The hot cheeto dust tasted like just dust, no spicy-ness. The condiments...she did not like that they put the condiments on for her,so she asked to put it on the side. Well, they charged her extra 50+cents just to put it on the side, for each dog. Crazy...the last thing that set her off to rate it one star for the food was that they don't put sugar on them! She went and asked and she said they looked at her weird for even asking. (My opinion- if you're going to do Korean dogs, you definitely need sugar on them and use the right batter)
Service- the only thing she pointed out was that there were a bunch of little kids working there. Meaning, they are not as serious in their job and in making the food...
