Office Depot is a great place to find "hard to find" office supplies and now have a friendly staff......................but: DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER IN FOR REPAIRS THERE!
My computer was running slow and not staying on so I took it in. Before taking it in I noticed that it was very dusty so I blew the dust off it first. When they plugged it in it ran fine but I let them go ahead and do the diagnostic anyway. $169.00 later they said they took some spyware off of it and that it should run fine now. WELL, they also destroyed my acrobat reader, my quick books, and print capabilities on my tax programs. I started getting pop-ups constantly and virus messages. I spent a day on the phone with intuit trying to fix my tax programs. I had to download a new QuickBooks but thankfully I had been having them back up online. I didn't want to take it back to Office Depot as I figured they'd mess it up again. So, I got a computer repairman here and got it all fixed - to the tune of $300.00. I know I cannot get a refund from Office Depot - so I'll live with it, but don't want anyone else to ever have...
Read moreI have been shopping at this store for so long all our business forms, ink, printers, and odds and ends. Yesterday I placed a pick up order and got my email that is was ready. Today I go there and cant find it. They told me to leave they would call me back. After awhile no-one called so I called back and was able to speak to a manager who claimed I picked up our order and signed for it and that they had video of it all. I asked him if I could come to the store and look at that he said no not company policy. I asked him he could look at the camera and look at me and he would be able to see it was not me. He told me to call corporate that they had the signature on file at that end. I called and they claim that they did not have any signature and did not know why the manager would say that. Corp. gave me my money back and they were nice, so was I. That store manager now he was rude and called me liar time...
Read moreChecked out with Olivia at the front register aug 11 @ 12:21pm bad customer service when she asked for my rewards phone number I told her I did not remember and if I can pull up it up with my email instead she said there was no way….we stood there at the register guessing for which phone number none applied and time was just being wasted and the line was just getting bigger behind us, I was just at the lamination check out previously and other associate was able to look up my rewards instantly with my email no wait on their end but Olivia made it impossible manager had to come way later and teach her how… Olivia was unapologetic and I was nice enough to say thank you at the end of the transaction and she did not care to reply.
