Extremely disappointed. This venue has serious problems with organization, respect for people’s time, and basic comfort. We came to see Aaron Watson tonight — doors open at 6PM, we stood around until 10:30PM and he STILL hadn’t shown up. Same thing happened when we saw William Beckmann — waited from 6PM until almost 10:30PM just for him to come on stage.
No seating unless you pay for a VIP table, which is absurd. We got VIP standing just so we could use real restrooms. If you have regular tickets? Good luck — you’re stuck using porta potties. That’s unacceptable, especially for older folks or anyone with medical needs.
This place oversells like crazy — way too many people crammed into a small space. And don’t even get me started on the drinks. $35 for two weak mixed drinks? Are they made with holy water? That’s straight-up robbery.
Overall, this place is disrespectful to its audience. No transparency on set times, overpriced everything, and zero comfort. We paid $120 and never saw Aaron. Never again. They need to do better or stop charging like they’re running a...
Read moreI recently visited Tailgate in Midland, and it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere is perfect for anyone looking to unwind after a long day. With its spacious outdoor seating and vibrant decor, it feels like the ultimate spot for relaxation and fun. The food was fantastic—my friends and I tried the loaded nachos and the BBQ bacon burger, both of which were delicious and cooked to perfection. The drink selection was impressive as well, with a variety of craft beers and creative cocktails to choose from. What really stood out was the live music. The band playing that night brought great energy, making the evening even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, Tailgate offers a wonderful combination of good food, great drinks, and a lively atmosphere. It’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to soon!"

Read moreThere are no couches to sit on for William Beckmann Concert. Only place to sit for $23 is five picnic tables. People hardly have anywhere to eat unless you get a VIP Stand Table or VIP sitting table. Buckets of beer on floor. Have to use porta pottys unless in VIP section. Have to wash your hands in porta washers that don't work properly & nothing to dry your hands on. Trey Rose opening act started at 8:30 was suppose to start at 8:00. 10pm still waiting for main act. Two idiots smoking & ruining it for us. Could have been considerate & gone outside venue by food trucks or porta potty area. If you are older or have knee or back issues...picnic tables not comfortable. Drinks over priced. Didn't eat this time. Other time I came you had normal tables to sit at like VIP section & it rained...more comfortable then. Food trucks were good. Atmosphere & venue great if they focused on making it comfortable. Brought my friend for her first time...we are...
