This is a tough one to write because I spend more $ at SB than I probably should. Being from DFW area, I stopped by this Midland location with the assumption it was be similar to the other ones I've invested a small fortune in... the customer crowd was about on par for other locations - about 4-6 customers coming and going at any given time. Sooooo.... I placed my order for 1 venti CM. Sat down, and waited... much like sand in a hourglass, I watched customers pass through. I didn't think much of it due to the App/Order to go folks that manage their time better than me, but then I noticed folks ordering and leaving ... while I sit and ponder my faults and where it all went wrong.
I asked the "manager"? maybe, he looked important at least, and he said he'll check on my order and get back to me. A few minutes later and a few more orders passed out, he and I locked eyes, while I gave the look of despair, he just shrugged and gave me the look of someone that had just got picked last in kickball. I could tell he was stressed so I just let it be and stayed seated.
Finally 10 more minutes I got up and stood by the counter, having resorted to just grabbing the next hot drink they sat down and making a run for it, when they called my name. Read moreI used to love going to this location. But here recently, it’s been going downhill. I understand that the holidays and customer service is hard during this time, but don’t be rude for no reason. The past few times I’ve gone, I’ll order on the app for drive through pickup. Each time I get to the window I’m greeted with an attitude, my order being completely wrong, so when I ask nicely to fix it, I get even more attitude and my order even more wrong. Today I go there and order the iced sugar cookie latte, when they hand me my drink, the ice is barely there, it’s not the right drink and it tastes horrible. I had asked if it was okay to remake it and that I would even pay for them to remake it and they told me “sorry we can’t do anything about it.” So now I’m left with my order in the trash and $30 down the drain (since I did order a few more other items). If I’m going to spend that kind of money, I want it to be right. But I kid you not the amount of times my order has been wrong to it being right is very slim. 99% of the time it’s wrong. Not sure who to talk to either because they never answer the phone, or they seem too busy and annoyed to listen to a paying customer. Given that I arrived just half an hour before closing time, I suspected they might have been rushing to wrap up their duties. However, the delay in attending to a single drink order seemed excessive, especially considering the lack of acknowledgment or basic greeting.Frustrated by the lack of attention, I decided to document my experience by recording videos and taking photos, intending to leave a review. It was only after I began this process that the staff finally acknowledged my presence and became notably more friendly and accommodating.
