My coworker and I were working an event in downtown Midland, but wanted to stay at a Hilton property that had a decent review, so we chose this location. It was a straight 10 minute shot to get downtown, so it wasn’t a bad drive for us at all. The hotel was decent. The room was a typical Home 2, with large rooms and this one was nice and bright with natural sunlight, with a large bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast was okay. I’d love to see them offer more allergen friendly options. The last night of our stay, I about lost my mind with noise. A room somewhere around me (it sounded like it was next to me or the room under me) had small kids in it that sounded like they were unsupervised. This went on from 10pm until almost 3am. Literal slamming of all the drawers in the room, screaming, running around. I finally called at 1am and nothing was done about it. I was there for work and to be kept up all night by noise was extremely frustrating. I heard other people in the other surrounding rooms banging on the walls, yelling at them to shut up, so I know I wasn’t the only person going crazy. I asked the next morning at breakfast and they said they got a few calls, but nothing else was said. I travel frequently and that was the only time I’ve ever called to complain about noise, and I can’t understand how they weren’t able to determine which room it was and do something about it. It made for a long work and travel day the next day,...
Read moreI traveled on the evening of hurricane Beryl I set in an airport while my flight was delayed and delayed and finally canceled At that point, I made the decision to drive to Midland, Texas
I was so tired. I pulled over and slept for two hours in my car.
When I arrived, I was told I couldn’t check in for 20 minutes while they ran an audit
Yes, she was aware I had called in to be sure they knew I would be coming. I was just gonna be late, but she said she had no idea what I would be going to.
Now I had a bathtub overflow because the overflow drain was not working
It overflowed for only a few minutes before I identified it, and I immediately called the front desk
I have now been made aware that they are not gonna bill their insurance. They’re going to charge me on my credit card that I gave them when I checked in.
I believe I should’ve at least been notified of multiple bids for the repairs rather than just randomly told number that I was responsible for
How poorly run is this place if they don’t even have insurance and can keep their drains flowing
They don’t have to worry, I won’t be coming...
Read more⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Stay at Home2 Suites – Thanks to Karen!
My recent stay at Home2 Suites was nothing short of exceptional, and a huge part of that was due to Karen, one of the most dedicated and welcoming staff members I’ve ever encountered. From check-in to check-out, she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, seamless, and enjoyable.
Karen’s professionalism, warm demeanor, and attention to detail truly set her apart. She remembered my preferences, offered fantastic local recommendations, and handled every request with a smile. Her hospitality didn’t just meet expectations—it exceeded them.
The hotel itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped, but it’s employees like Karen who make a stay memorable. She’s an absolute asset to the Home2 Suites team, and if anyone deserves recognition (and a well-earned raise!), it’s her.
Thank you, Karen, for making my stay feel like home. I’ll definitely be back—and I hope the management knows just how lucky they are to have you!
Highly recommend Home2 Suites—especially if Karen’s there to...
