Food: Tio Tony's Mexican Restaurant is a true gem when it comes to authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor and prepared with the freshest ingredients. From their mouth-watering tacos and burritos to their delectable enchiladas and fajitas, every bite is a delight. I highly recommend trying their signature dish, the Tio Tony's special. It's a true masterpiece! Drinks: Tio Tony's Mexican Restaurant has an extensive drinks menu that features some of the best margaritas in town. They use high-quality tequila and fresh lime juice to create the perfect balance of sweet and sour. Their frozen margaritas are especially refreshing on a hot summer day. I also highly recommend trying their pitcher beer, which is a perfect complement to any meal. Hospitality: The staff at Tio Tony's Mexican Restaurant are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm smile and made to feel like family. They go above and beyond to ensure that you have an enjoyable dining experience. I especially appreciate the hospitality provided by Juan Ybarra, who always goes out of his way to make sure that everything is perfect. Service: The service at Tio Tony's Mexican Restaurant is exceptional. The waitstaff are attentive, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you have everything you need. They are quick to respond to any requests and always make sure that you are well taken care of. Juan Ybarra, in particular, provides top-notch service and is a true asset to the restaurant. Value: Tio Tony's Mexican Restaurant offers excellent value for money. The rates are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. You get a lot of bang for your buck, and the quality of the food and drinks is truly outstanding. It's no wonder that my friends and I have made up our minds to visit again and again. Tio Tony's is a must-visit restaurant!

This is my 3rd/4th time visiting this establishment. Whenever I'm in Dallas, my brother brings me here to eat(he's a regular there)This was my first time making it in time... for breakfast. Definitely worth getting up early. This is pretty authentic Mexican/TexMex food. Its not fancy but it is very welcoming...super hispanic(family oriented, colorful, and latin music blasting)(Xmas decorations were still up abd they were lovely!) but I love it! They have a vast menu for breakfast/lunch/dinner and the juice in water DELICIOUS!!!! I had the melon and mango 🥭. I had my favorite, Huevos Rancheros and they were DIVINE! A bit spicy for me but I ate them regardless. The beans were super tasty and my side of crumbled cheese was the perfect finish to them. Homemade tortillas are life and available here. My cousin ate the Mexican breakfast which came with steak! That steak was EVERYTHING!!!! My brother was unaware this was even an option for breakfast! Lol. She was super pleased with her meal...just like I was. I'm sure I'll be back once I return to Texas to visit my brother. The food is inexpensive and served in quite filling portions. Def worth a try if you are in Midlothian. Our server was a lovely gentlemen who made sure our food was to our liking. All the employees were hospitable. Thanks!

I eat Mexican food a lot; according to Google, I'm in the top 10% of Mexican food reviewers. I say that because I want you to take this serious. Too Tony's is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant of all Mexican restaurants I've eaten at across the entire country! Hands down, their salsa is 100% absolutely my favorite that I've ever had. The flavor is perfect and has the right amount of heat. I asked for Cholula sauce for my tacos, but I ended up just putting some of the salsa on the tacos because it was that good. The margaritas, cheese dip, and rice were average; not bad by any stretch of the imagination. The beans were a really pleasant surprise. It was borderline bean soup, but it was way more flavorful than most places I've had the beans at. I got the brisket tacos and they were really good. They were not fatty at all, and the meat was seasoned nicely, especially with a little salsa on them for extra kick. I wish Ohio wasn't so far from Texas, because I can promise you this would be a regular spot for me if I lived closer! The last nite, everyone I dealt with on the staff was friendly and helpful. I can promise if I ever get back to Dallas, we'll be back here!

Went tonight to have a girls dinner with 5 of my friends all was well until one of our friends ordered a margarita and the waiter stood there looking at her Id for 2 minutes straight trying to figure out if she was 21(she was 22 ) she ended up walking off but after the issuewith the id anasking someone, we then ordered 2 queso’s and our waiter questioned us on why we need 2, when they were brought to our table one was delicious and like they’re usual queso but the other one was so thin it tasted and looked like someone poured water in it, it wasn’t a big deal so we didn’t say anything due to the fact we made one enough. The waiter made a few comments to one of my friends child about not dropping anything else which I feel is extremely uncalled for. When my friends margarita finally came out she drank it and then went to lick the salt and smelt the glass and it smelt like mildew (we all smelt it and agreed). A few of the times we ordered or asked for anything she rolled her eyes on top of the fact I was looking across the room at something and she was standing nearby and I ended up making eye contact with her and she gave me a dirty look, she ended up making a mistake on the one of the checks and was charging it wrong so we called it out to help fix the mistake she wasn’t very happy but ended up fixing with the managers help. When it came time to pay our tabs a few people tipped and a few people didn’t ( I was one that chose not to tip due to the dirty face I was given and some of the attitude). I always feel waiters deserve 20% if not more but after the issues we had tonight I did not feel that way, I have never had a issue at the restaurant and have been going my whole life. One of my other friends who did not tip was stopped by the check out person after we had all walked away and was told”tipping your server is standard and it wasn’t already applied into your total” she preceded to tell my friend that nobody tipped, my friend felt very uncomfortable and wasn’t sure what to do. I always feel that tipping is 100% right and if you don’t have the money to tip you shouldn’t go out to eat but in this case I truly don’t think she deserved to be tipped I surely don’t think my friend deserved to be berated when she had no idea our our...

We come here for lunch when we are working in the area, so we’ve eaten here +20 times. Price has gone up on everything in their menu while quality has fallen.

You guys should focus on quality control. The only thing consistent, is how bad it is.

I always get the “comalada”

Avoid the guacamole it’s is always very dark. In the comalada the beef is burnt to a crisp every time. You have to pick out the edible ones. While the smoke sausage is always way undercooked. The one thing that’s good slightly crisper they leave raw. The onions and bell peppers are always black burnt and inedible. Lettuce wet and soggy pico bland and generic. Burnt yet soggy nachos every time. These are consistently the same issues we have every time. The most recent time all of the above was present plus the charro beans undercooked. Rice had Bits of char mixed in.

Chips and salsa worse than other Mexican restaurants. Salsa is half water, no salt, no spice, tastes like watered down ketchup. Chips are pretty much crispy thin cardboard. No flavor

Went around 2pm on a Friday. It was busy but food came out quick. The staff was friendly, and refilled our drinks promptly. I ordered off the specials, don't get the ribeye: it's thin, dry, and burnt even after asking for medium rare. The salad was wet and the dressing was warm, the baked potato comes with sour cream and cheese and the one I got was huge. The chips at the start of the meal were broken and small and the salsa was bland. The menu didn't have very much variety. The rest of my party got tacos, which were nothing special and they came with spicy yet bland salsa, salmon, which was decent but came with no tortillas. If you are looking a quick bite with very basic and bland flavors this is your place. If you are looking for good salsa or good Mexican food you should...
