I really like this place. Alittle pricy, but you get what you pay for; quality, fresh food consistently. I actually like the kimchi because it does not have a disgusting smell to it. What I liked about the beef bulgogi was that it was tender and without chewy gristle. You way want to call in your order to cut down on the wait. Update 29Aug21 - After 3 or 4 times of getting beef bulgogi, I am extremely disappointed. It was already expensive before and now the price has increased approx. 30%, but the quality has decreased. It appears that the beef was not cooked long enough because of the toughness and the gristle. I spat out over a third of the meat because it was too tough to chew and I bit into a few pieces that had this awful gamey taste that turned me off. I did not like the green side. It looked like petite green beans, but it did not enhance the flavors of my meal at all. I did not care for the kimchi either; the taste was different and not in a good way. Thus, instead of 5 stars "loved it", changed to only 3 stars "liked it". Not likely to return...too expensive of a disappointment.

Dine here first with my daughter (7yrs old) she loved the omelette and chicken fried rice. I ordered beef short rib soup and it was sooooooo good! After the great experience we had, we went back again this time with my mom and grandma. We ordered seafood pancakes, beef short rib soup, and LA Galbi. Everything was delicious but we will definitely keep going back specially for the soup that was soooooo soooo good it’s a family favorite for sure! For the two times we visited, the service had been nothing but great. Our servers were nice and friendly and would answer any requests and questions we have. I have also noticed that so many Korean families had been dining here.

Title: Disappointing Experience, One Star

Review: I recently had the opportunity to dine at Yewon Korean, and I must say that I was extremely disappointed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that the restaurant lacked attention to detail and customer service.

Firstly, the ambiance was underwhelming. The lighting was dim, and the overall atmosphere felt dull and uninviting. It didn't create a pleasant dining environment that one would expect from a Korean restaurant.

Moving on to the service, it was far from satisfactory. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. It took an unusually long time to get our orders taken, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold and lacked the authentic flavors that I was hoping for. The waitstaff did not bother to check on us during the meal, leaving us with empty glasses and unanswered requests.

The quality of the food was another letdown. The dishes lacked the freshness and vibrant taste that is characteristic of Korean cuisine. The portions were small, and the presentation was mediocre at best. It was clear that the food was not prepared with care or passion.

Furthermore, the prices did not reflect the poor quality of the food and service. I found the overall value for money to be extremely low, considering the subpar experience we had.

In conclusion, my visit to Yewon Korean was a disappointing one-star experience. The lackluster ambiance, poor service, and below-average food quality left me with a negative impression. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Korean...

Wonderful food. I’m a chef and a lot of times when I get off work I do not feel like cooking for myself, so a lot of fast quick food gets eaten. I decided I didn’t want any of the same drive thru bs when I got off and placed a to go order. I’ve dined in here on a few occasions and have never been disappointed. Today I got combination fried rice, and two fish cakes with mozzarella. Both super super good. I was really happy about the fish cakes and mozzarella because I really really like Korean street food and as far as I know this is the only place in my area I can get it. I have a big appreciation for Korean food and culture. Prices “seem” high but you have to realize what you’re eating. The quality of the food and time it takes to prepare and HOW MUCH you get is beyond worth the price.

The work and time put into the food is what really makes me enjoy it. I love the kimchi and spicy cucumbers that come along with the meals. The sides are top notch. I love all the side dishes almost as much as the mains. Finally got home to sit and eat and I’m just so happy eating this food. It’s so fresh, so good, so perfect. The owners and workers are super friendly. Everyone greeted me when I came in. Before I became a chef I had all food customer service jobs and the fact that everyone I saw greeted me means something. If you can, please do support this business. The food is great! If you’re nervous to try new things, don’t be scared to ask what’s good and what you’d like. They’ll find something for you. 10 out of 10 every time I’ve been....

This is our 3rd time dining in and 4th time overall. The food tastes great if you are lucky enough to order according to your tastes.

Today we ordered a fish soup. We asked about it ahead of time. There was no mention on the menu, nor from the server about the bones. Typically we don't like to complain or make a fuss. It could be our fault for assuming there wouldn't be any bones in the fish. It was basically a fish thrown into the soup with zero prep. It is our fault of course and understandably so. Of course we asked to send it back. They said we touched the food and there is nothing they could do about it.

I've never in my life asked to deduct something I did not like from the check. The manager always offers some kind of solution. Gift card, percentage off. Maybe a new menu item at a discounted price. Something to show that they appreciate our business and would like us to visit again.

If there was a warning for the bones I'd have not ordered that dish. This is beyond trying a new dish and disliking it. It is being unable to eat it. I did not want to choke on a fish bone.

This is a place you must only eat at if you 100 percent know what you like and exactly what you are getting. The wait staff can not explain the menu to you. The joy of trying something new and getting absolutely great service is missed at this place. Our area has too many options to go where you feel unwelcome and irrelevant. We pay for the experience, the joy of trying new things and the satisfaction of a great experience. This...
