Juice Bar Cafe — Restaurant in Midlothian

Tried Juice Bar for the first time yesterday- I just went in looking for a simple acai bowl. I ended up going with the mango bowl, which was DELICIOUS. Freshly made with no frozen fruit topping, just real, crisp fruit. The environment was really warm and homey with cozy chairs and bright colors. The service was impeccable, everyone was so sweet and I genuinely enjoyed talking with them for a moment. My favorite part is that it's a small business run by the owners family and friends, and the owner seems passionate about the Cafe becoming a welcoming environment for people to gather and enjoy good-for-you food. The owner even brought me and a few other ladies sitting a sample of other flavors (all of which were also amazing). First time going here everything was amazing. I knew this would be my go to spot! However, my second time was not the best. I ordered a bowl ( which is what I got during my first visit so I knew what to expect as far as taste and appearance) instead of making the bowl they made a smoothie and poured it into a container. I don’t speak Spanish but I kept hearing them say smoothie & bowl but I thought nothing of it until I got in the car, drove off and looked at my bowl. It all clicked then. What I got was very liquified, runny and very few toppings. I was so disappointed. This was my first time visiting the juice bar, but not my first time enjoying their freshly made juices. My husband previously brought home a juice and immunity shots, which I really liked, so when we were in the area, we decided to stop by. The owner and the young man working alongside him were incredibly inviting and friendly, making the experience even better.

We ordered the beet juice and two breakfast sandwiches—mine with scrambled eggs, Swiss cheese, spinach, and pesto on whole grain bread, while my husband opted for sourdough.
