I debated for awhile on leaving this review but since no one has bothered to respond to me on the store's social media page or the website, I guess I'll leave my experience here.
When I came here, which at this point was probably a month ago, the store was in an awful state and had no reason to be. There were no other customers in the store. There were juice containers filled to the brim-with no covering- shoved against the customer counter top for any kind of dust or debris to fall into them. The counters were filthy, the food prep section was open, letting food items be exposed to unsafe temperatures, there was ice cream sitting on the back sink instead of in a freezer.
Rushes happen and its possible I just missed it. But I wouldn't know because there was absolutely no urgency from the employees there. One of them was washing blenders and was at least doing something but the other was more occupied with her phone. When I went to place my order, she stared at her phone on the counter behind the register and texted WHILE I PLACED AN ORDER. I asked her politely if she could please wash her hands (because phones are very dirty and the person with me had an autoimmune disorder) and the employee looked at me like I just asked her to stand on her head. I paid and proceeded to wait while she made sure to finish her conversation first instead of tending to the order we just placed. She did wash her hands but also seemed to have no idea how to make the drinks and dumped powder on the floor as she conversed with her coworker and continued to take as much time as possible. And look, I don't expect things to be done in a flash. Good things take time to be made, but she took as much time as she could. I worked at Pulp when I was a teen, so I do understand what its like to work there and to be a kid at my first job but I went from buying a smoothie several times a week (and always tipping) to never wanting to come back to this location because of the treatment and not being able to trust that it is a hygienic...
Read moreMy girlfriends and I stopped in here after lunch at the rusty bucket because the three of us rarely find a smoothie shop anywhere near our homes. As we walked in the door, their computer system crashed due to a very short power outage. We looked at the menu and gave our order and we paid cash since their system was still not up and running. I got two different smoothies because I’m a smoothie addict. One was the triple berry and the other was the extreme strawberry. The triple berry tasted kind of weird and I don’t think I would get that again, but the extreme strawberry was amazingly delicious. It’s kind of a good thing that they don’t have a store in my city, because I’d probably go broke going to their shop for my smoothie fix. The staff were both friendly...
Read moreWent for the first time this morning and was completely ignored even though there was no one in the store. How strange? The cashier spoke to the man in front of me who then went to the back of the store and then continued to work on orders and clean as I stood there instead of checking in. Did not have long to wait nor did I want to bother the rude workers by asking what the heck is going on so I walked out. As Im walking out, the other worker who had been working on orders ask the person who just walked in if they had a pickup order.
Dont go here, Go to Hilliard. Have never had a problem and they greet everyone no matter if they are busy with orders or not. Its not that difficult and you keep...
