Gahanna Sanctuary — Attraction in Mifflin Township

Gahanna Sanctuary was the most beautiful venue! I am SO glad that we booked with them for our wedding day. The stained glass windows, original hard wood flooring, large bridal suite, and large reception hall and separate cocktail room were all perfect for our 130 guests. All of our guests told us that our venue and our wedding day was beautiful! We were able to make it even more beautiful with our flowers and linens! The price was very budget friendly and Becky and Shane worked with us for all of our needs and answered any questions we had quickly and efficiently. Becky even let us tour the venue multiple times with family and friends. Shane gave us a special code to lock up the building and a separate code for the bridal suite. Reasonable in price and amenities, but could use a renovation (replace broken window or do a better job on the replacement patchwork, remove graffiti from bathroom stalls, do something about musty odor, carpet needs steam vac ...). There is a slight grade between two areas, so keep that in mind while walking from one section to the next. If you can overlook the small things, the building looks fabulous, the stained glass windows are fantastic and the canvas is yours to paint .. food, entertainment, ... The staff is excellent and helpful, and do remember to...

My fiance & I went for a tour here. We really loved the space. That said, John (who gave us the tour), lost our business by asking my fiancee if she had a bomb when he learned her name is Iranian, bragging about how they didn't have to be ADA compliant because of their nonprofit and historical status (at least one of our guests uses a wheelchair, and my fiancee works with people with disabilities), and asking me if I dye my hair with Kool-Aid... Just wanted to put this out there so that people can know what they are...
