Osaka Hibachi Buffet — Restaurant in Stratford

I like this place alot, and compared to the other places around where I live, (CT), it's probably the best you can get. The staff are nice, there's a lot of choices, and it's pretty clean. Honestly, I would've gave it a 4.5 stars if I could. Here's a detailed description of the place and food if anyone wants to know (There are TL;DRs at the end) : The food : they have a decent amount of picks, dessert, sea food and sushi. Dessert wise, they've got strawberry cake, vanilla cake, and chocolate cake. The cake is pretty dense, and it's not the best, but it's fine. They also have those small sized cakes, these are also pretty good. They also have pudding, chocolate and banana. I usually like to crush up the cheesecake they have there and mix it with the banana pudding, the combination is really tasty. They also have jelly. I recommend trying the egg jelly, it tastes something akin to ice cream. Moving on, sea food they have shrimp and fish, but there's no real crab meat. There's some fake crab meat in some dishes. I really like eating the dish that has the faux crab meat, some veggies, some cream and some cheese. It's really good, but it's a bit rich, so don't est to much of it. Sushi : They have a decent selection, and some garnishes. The sushi is okay, I would give it 3 stars. They also have a bunch of fried stuff and chinese dishes, and a selection of soups. (TL; DR : They have a bunch of desserts, sushi, fried stuff, soups, and some asian dishes.) The place itself : It's not super clean, but it's not that bad. At a glance, it's pretty well maintained, and the bathroom is also pretty well cleaned whenever I used it. There are no bugs to speak of ( thank god ) and I haven't found any hair in my food. The food is refilled pretty often.

Food is alright. Sushi is very good. The staff was terribly rude. They made a mistake on the bill with a discount meant only for two of our senior table mates, and made US feel like criminals because of their error. They’d meant to only give it to the two seniors, but accidentally put it on all four checks. This is something that would have been corrected when we went up to pay and noticed it, but instead they came up to our table, roughly grabbed the bill off the table, then proceeded to walk away without a word. They returned to the table, called someone over, and proceeded to converse about it right next to us, while we were trying to finish eating. Then they accusingly explained the issue to us while editing the bill with a pen - and STILL they left with it and came back twice more with a different copy. Giving us dirty looks all the while. Not a one of us asked for or even expected any kind of a discount in the first place. It was very insulting, as well as embarrassing. We had no problem with the error being corrected at all, it was more how they went about doing so, by making us feel like it was our fault. It was a very uncomfortable situation. Then when the four of us were taking turns paying at the desk, the girl started yelling at us that she’d only processed three of them...when the fourth person was literally standing right in front of her, waving her card around to pay.
