DISAPPOINTING. Went here 06/21/25 for early dinner. Arrived around 2:30 p.m. Only two other tables were occupied. Ordered Caprese Salad as an appetizer. Waited 1/2 hour for the appetizer. Watched as another table, seated quite a while after us, received their hot appetizer before us. Waiter asked my wife if she wanted a refill on her drink. She said yes, she would like it when the meal arrived. She was halfway through the meal when he finally brought over her drink and only after she signaled him she needed a refill. I only had water with my meal and had no offer for a refill until I had two bites left. We each ordered one of the dinner specials. I ordered the Short Ribs Special. It was ok, pasta was over cooked. It should be noted - we have eaten here before and always enjoyed the food and felt the past service was amazing. We always complemented the owners, in person, for the extraordinary service. This time was very disappointing. We paid for our dinner and on our way out felt we should notify the owners about our experience with the service. As my wife explained to one of the owners that the appetizer took a long time to arrive, he said we'll take care of this immediately and he brought my wife to the kitchen manager to share with him our experience. His response - "Kitchen staff was probably taking their breaks". He was very dismissive regarding our complaint. A simple, I'm sorry you had that experience, I'll look into it would have been a more appropriate response. So what was he telling me?: When the person making the caprese salad takes a break, no one else in the kitchen can handle that job? The dinner specials did not come with a dinner salad as we've gotten in the past with meals ordered off the menu. So, we had a Caprese Salad, a coke, two dinner specials and one Lava Cake with poor service for $132.04 not including tip. Even with the poor service, we gave a tip of 20% because the young women who was bussing the table was pleasant and on her game and we assumed she gets a share of the tip and she deserved to be taken care of. Plenty of other places to eat. I don't need to return...

Worst Dinner Service in the past 15 years that I can remember. Made reservations for 4 people for an 8pm seating for Valentine’s Day. The 4 being myself, the wife and our 9 and 13 girls. The restaurant was set up in such a way, that only 2 tables would accommodate 4 people. We arrived at 750. We were not seated until 850 with little regard to our by now VERY hungry children. We ordered quickly having memorized the menu for being in line for so long. The line and staff catered very easily to tables of 2 all evening. I honestly think the staff were hoping that we would give up and go elsewhere. Some may ask why so late, my wife works till 7pm on weekdays. My 9 yr. old did get her food quick, pasta and fires which should be, but she melted down after waiting so long that after she ate I took her home and our neighbor kept an eye on her, here home arrival was at 947pm. By the time I got back, the place was near empty, my dinner was boxed as I never would eat after 10pm. The staff avoided us totally and our server gave us the LAME excuse that being a holiday, these things just happen. I would be curious to see how they handle dinner service on a weekend night as those should be busy too. The evening was a total loss for myself and the family. If this were the last place on earth to eat, I would choose...

For food this place gets 4 1/2-5 stars. Their calamari wasn't the greatest but the rest of the food was amazing. Their bread was nice, warm and just perfectly toasted, followed by a basic side salad. Got their steak tri fungi which was cooked perfectly and the sauce was a perfect compliment to the potatoes and 3 types of mushrooms. Husband had the chicken genovese and the creamy pesto sauce was absolutely divine. Sister in law had the seafood combo which she thoroughly enjoyed. Portions are good and everyone had a to go bag. Dessert was a cannoli-shell was hard and crunchy and just delightful filling. The Godiva chocolate cheesecake was also delicious.

For service will give them 3-4 stars. We were a big group of 10, made reservations and didn't get seated for 30 minutes. No big deal given the restaurant is packed. Servers were nice when they did get there however it took forever to get refills on water/drinks and even dinner choices. I understand it's busy however when the 3 other tables around us were getting water and people checking up on them, it makes you wonder. Service did improve by the end of the night.

Overall would go to them again as the food...

Veal marsala was good, but not served with pasta; “new york strip topped with oyster, shiitake & portobello mushrooms in a brown cognac sauce with roasted potatoes” was Ok, but the sauce was over strong, bitter, overpowered the potatoes which were covered by sauce so not sure how they were. Seemed understaffed, and staff did not seem very happy or friendly except the hostess. Maple old fashion was OK, not top shelf Rye by any means, very watery; and the maple syrup was a thick layer along the bottom of the glass so not properly mixed.

My first impression is Fratelli's is a pretentious restaurant with white linen tablecloths and a waitstaff with white long sleeve shirts and bow ties. The food was okay. I had the Tour of Italy, my son had the Chillian Sea Bass. Both were okay but failed to match the ambiance the restaurant seamed to wish to aspire to. I have had better Italian food at more casual restaurants and at much lower prices. The Sea Bass was not prepared as the menu described. Despite this the place was packed. I'll have to give Fratelli's another try.
