This is my goto favorite restaurant/Buffet from Wilton to Hudson to Manchester and in between. I only go for the buffet, because there's a great mix of sauteed vs fried vs American vs American Chinese foods and spicy vs sweet vs in between flavored foods that are actually quite spicy (if sauteed) or sweet (if deep fried) or in between as advertised. They have more rice/noodle options at the buffet than most other buffets and use a rice-steamer for the sticky/White rice. The buffet lasts nearly 4 hours everyday and is less than $9 a person after tax if you only get water to drink which is $5 cheaper than most other buffets.
Now granted if you buy the dishes separate from the buffet, you'll be paying about the average or just above average pricing for it. And if you want a buffet togo box, and you eat at the buffet, if you have a full plate at time of asking or you fill the box from the buffet table itself you'll be charged a bit extra. But if you have only a half plate or less (guessing on amount here) you'll be given a togo box free so long as you don't fill it with more from the buffet stands.
Very friendly service, sadly understaffed but you couldn't tell if you didn't read the hand-written "hiring" page on the entrance as they are prompt with refills and will hold conversations if there's only one or two others present. Owned and run by a small family which makes it even more enjoyable if they bring their kid to work.
Overall, great place with great food and a cheap buffet with a great mix and...

This place does a wonderful buffet on Thursday-Sunday and during limited hours.
I have visited here three times before leaving a review so I could get a full grasp of consistency here. I went on a Friday, Saturday, and a Sunday.
There is not one food item here that seems dry or not attended to on every visit.
The seating and decor is definitely outdated but the food, service, and ease of checking out make this place a great weekend fill up spot.
The lady at counter I have seen all three times and each time there is a smile, she has good conversation with the regulars here, and the kitchen staff even seem to have a good rapport with regular customers which is a first for me at a buffet.
The peking raviolis are small and bite sized and it was a shock at first, but definitely welcome as I didn’t overeat on those and was able to pick at more food than I probably normally would.
The only thing I did not care for (it was not bad just not as good for me as the other items) was the fried rice but that is a personal preference as I saw a lot of other folks filling up on the fried rice and enjoying it.
$15 for a buffet with this quality of food and service and friendliness is a steal. I leave them $5 each time because it makes me happy to come this place on the weekends now that Kisaki is closed in Manchester.
Highly recommend and can’t wait to...
Read moreJust went they yesterday (21 Dec 2012) and the food from the buffet was mostly warm, cool, and cold. We mentioned this to the waiter and his words were "that's because you got if off of the buffet. If you ordered from the menu it would have been hot." Then started to leave without eating. We informed the cashier of the situation and he asked if we were paying. I said "that's up to you, but if we do we will never come back here and my WOM advertising will be bad." He then went to ask if we had to pay and came back saying "yes." I asked him who he asked and his reply was "the waiter." I then asked him to get a manager and he did. The manager literally shouted something across the room to the waiter in chinese, then came to us asking what the problem was. We told her and she said the we can't let you not pay anything and charged us $3 for a coke (the one drink we got - still sitting on the table). Then the cashier started mouthing off to me and my wife - about as unprofessional as you can get.
So, in my opinion whether the food tastes good from the menu or not is irrelevant as the professionalism and attitude of the owners and staff are totally rude and unacceptable (not the way to run a service industry business). We will neve go there again and we strongly suggest no one else...
