I saw a review saying not to come here if you're under 65, and I had to laugh—I've been coming here weekly for 10ish years, and I'm WAY under 65. This place is one of the few remaining spots where you can slow down, enjoy a great breakfast, and actually connect with your community.
My friend and I started coming here for breakfast while our kids were at school, and it’s become our weekly tradition. The food is consistently delicious, the prices are unbeatable (you’re getting a full breakfast for under $7!), and best of all, no one rushes you out the door. It’s the kind of place where the staff knows your name, you get to know other locals, and you feel like part of something.
If you're looking for fast service and a trendy scene, maybe this isn’t your place. But if you want real food, real people, and a chance to slow down and enjoy the morning—this spot is perfect, no...
Read moreIf you’re under 65, don’t bother coming here. The service is terrible unless you’re the same age as the staff. My girlfriend and I went in, and the waitress ignored us completely—she walked right past us to serve an older gentleman and an older couple who arrived after we did. She looked right at us and didn’t say a word.
Everyone working there seems like they should be retired already. The food is bad, the service is worse, and they can’t even remember your order correctly. I guess people keep going because it’s cheap, but you really do get what you pay for here.
As a local, I won’t be back. Save yourself the headache and go to Alpha Diner in Alpha, NJ instead the food and service there are so much better. It’s worth the extra 10-minute drive to eat somewhere that actually cares about all its customers, not just...
Read moreMy favorite place to get breakfast! My friends and I go here all the time. It seems to be the type of place that everyone knows about by word of mouth and it is a well known meeting hub for locals; I see many familiar faces here every week. Super tasty breakfast food and sandwiches, super friendly people, and the prices are very affordable. They also open at like 4am which makes them the perfect late night/early morning recovery stop after parties, concerts, and other shenanigins. It's very comforting knowing this place is always open and ready to serve a tasty meal at pretty much any time of morning. If you only have 5 bucks in your pocket but you want a good meal and a nice friendly experience to wake you up, this is the...
