We stopped by for breakfast... Milford Diner knocked it out the park! We got the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette, sides of scrapple (cooked exactly how we asked for it), perfectly seasond hot home fries and toast. Everything was realllllly good. I mean, that was a huge breakfast (portion) and I cleaned my plate! The sweet tea reminds me of how my aunt used to make it. It's addicting! They should sell it by the gallon! I'd buy it! The best part of all though, was our waitress ... Danya! She is such a a sweetheart! Professional and personable! She was so attentive to all of our needs, and even took the time to come just chat with us about life like she's known us forever.... It just made the experience so much better! Shes a gem! We had been to the Milford Diner a year or maybe more ago, and were served by Danya at that point... This morning was our first time back because we thought the diner had closed up but realized this morning that wasn't the case... When we were getting out of the car, my boyfriend said "wouldn't it be cool if we got the same waitress from last year" and sure enough. We will definitely be back. I know the Milford Diner has a history of questionable hours, closures and openings HOWEVER, it's a staple in our community and I'm glad it's up and running. I remember when I was a small child sitting with my grandfather Bill Groton who is now deceased at the counter... He would drink his coffee and buy me French toast. Passing through Milford on our way to Virginia Beach it was time to stop for breakfast. Seeing this place out of the corner of our eyes we decided to go in. This Diner is on the northbound side of Rt 13 so we had to make a U-turn at the next light. We were greeted with a joyful good morning entering the Diner and (timing is everything) was promptly seated and given menus. Coffee followed with the server giving the morning specials. One of the specials was a Cheese burger omelette with a choice of cheese wich I chose American a long with pickles, ketchup and mustard and I found it interesting. My wife got the spinach and swiss cheese omelette and both came with julienne home fries. Believe it or not there was a choice of Pumpernickel, Marble or just plain Rye bread! The cheese burger omelette was crazy good especially after mixing in the home fries, all the flavors really worked. Everything we had was outstanding and that also included a short stack of pancakes, orange and a cranberry juice along with the coffee that was in large cups with sayings on them. It totally has a hometown vibe they share with travellers. Very clean restrooms although I don't think they are Wheel chair accessable but they do have a ramp to enter the Diner. Parking seemed a little tight but has Handicap spots. The bill averaged just about $15.00 apiece not including the tip. Let me say that these folks are worth a...

I happened to be hungry and saw this place out of the corner of my eye, and stopped in. The line was out the door, but the parking lot was packed so I knew it was good and boy was I not wrong. This place was PHENOMENAL! from the food to most importantly, the service. Everyone in there from the hostess to the waitress to the busers, and even the dishwashers they all had smiles on her face. They were all helpful, pleasant and they all checked on the tables. It was everyone’s job there to make everyone feel like family and that’s how I left feeling. I have never been to a place with better service. I never once had to ask for anything because they were on top of it all. I had what I needed before I knew I needed it including to go boxes. I was even asked if I wanted a coffee to go! The place was clean and although they were busy, they got people in and out quickly and as pleasantly as you wouldn’t believe. I never felt rushed and I didn’t have to wait but maybe 10 minutes Granted it was just me and I heard them saying it was a 20 minute wait for some but I don’t think anyone waited even that long. This is one place I will be telling everyone I know about and I hope you take the time to stop in -you will...
