Got take out today for my wife on my way home from work. First time for Riley’s place, definitely the last. The place looks neat so I don’t have anything bad to say about that. The food however was mighty disappointing. Let’s start with the steak tip I asked to be medium rare they were definitely over cooked to medium well, also very bland and taste unseasoned. The Mac and cheese they were on top of was also extremely underwhelming, lacked flavor and tastes like oil and butter, barely taste like cheese at all. The side Caesar Salad I ordered ended up being some other salad and to my surprise came with no dressing at all and also looks underwhelming. Can’t believe I spent 35$ on this food. Never again, you have been warned.

Made the trip to Riley’s last Sunday for their Blues Music Sunday. You would never know it was a restaurant/bar just by driving by. It looks like an old farm house. It’s a two level venue with a bar up top and high tables and a stage and low seated tables down bottom. Really cute place. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. Drinks were reasonably priced and great food selection. So fun to eat and listen to people jamming to blues music. I got the pulled pork on their homemade cheddar biscuits. AMAZING! I didn’t know there were three sliders, so I had leftovers for the next days lunch. I’d highly suggest taking a trip on a Sunday to check it out. They also have a large outdoor seating area in the back.

I haven't eaten here but only have been here for the musical performances, both watching and playing. They have a lovely little room where the stage is - not the largest stage but can tightly accommodate my 5-piece band. The room sounds amazing with all the wood, and they have a top notch sound crew. Super attentive, and they really know what they are doing. No complaints if you need a little more vocal in a monitor, and are happy and eager to work with you as a musician/band. The stage lighting is also great, and they have a nice deck area/patio area to chill between sets. They have some great open mics and blues jams worth checking out.

Came to hear a blues jam on a Sunday. Music was great, food was good, generally was having a very good time.

The server herself was great. The issue was the manager. I had gotten a soda, and got a refill to go. When the bill came I became aware that soda refills are not included. I had gotten a to-go cup, maybe 8 oz, and was charged for a second soda.

I asked about it, and the server graciously offered to take back the soda and remove the charge. She tried, but apparently her manager refused to allow it. So I got charged another $3.00 for a roughly 8 oz soda in a plastic cup.

Other than that it was a good place to visit. Really puzzled as to why some manager is so petty that they refused to take off the soda. No way I would have gotten a refill if I'd known I'd be charged that much for it.

Reply to owner comment -- I understand that smaller restaurants do not and/or cannot always offer free refills on sodas (or other non-alcohol drinks). My only issue is with the manager not allowing for a correction and allowing the refill to be cancelled. I never would have requested a refill if I'd known it was an additional charge. I'll admit the menu doesn't specify either way (it also doesn't list soda as an option, although it obviously is one since I received one). That said, soda has free refills at many, many places, and so I (and I suspect others) made what I think is a reasonable assumption that it was also the policy at your restaurant.

Other than that issue, the service was fine, the food was fine, the music was great. But the fact that the manager refused to bend on the issue left me with the impression that accommodating customers just isn't as important there as it may be at...

Stopped by this morning for lunch and a couple of drinks. The live music was wonderful. My drink was also delicious, until I was a few sips in and realized it was filled without about 30 dead ants. I had originally thought it was some sort of seed mixture, until I looked closer and realized it was indeed…. a disgusting amount of ants. I alerted our sever and she told us “it’s just part of the drink mix”. I wish I knew ants were part of the drink mix before I ordered that one. My friend also found an ant in her drink. While not as bad as mine, still left a bad taste in my mouth (literally). After finding the other ant, we decided we just wanted to close our check. The waitress was very dismissive and straight gaslighted us that they were NOT ants. We expected to pay as my friend had drank most of hers, and the waitress remarked, “so were you guys just not planning on paying?” when we asked to close the check. We assured her we were and she had a very negative attitude. I am very disappointed as the vibe of the restaurant was lovely, however, the staff was incredibly dismissive and made us feel crazy for not wanting to drink these ant-filled beverages. The owner followed us out and ensured us that they had “taken care” of the ant problem and no longer had ants. Clearly not true. I will not be returning and I hope they can actually sort out this problem because I am personally not a fan of drinking several tiny...

Great place to hear music!! Food is pretty good for the slightly high price point. Mixed drinks are definitely priced too high for lower quality and low quantity alcohol in the drink. We've been here 4-5 times, and the service has been poor every time. We've been rushed to order upon seating. Menu often has multiple unavailable items listed. The servers do not know the menu and are not informed of unavailable items. Upon service, the server does not check back in a timely manner. When they do return, they are rushed to take our plates and express their disappointment if we are taking our time to finish our drinks while obviously and actively listening to the music ( made it known upon arrival we were there for the music). At this point, the server checks back every 3-5 minutes, even though we still have drinks in front of us. It is clear they want us to pay the tab and leave, even though there are plenty of empty seats/tables. Very unprofessional. Training should be assessed as this has happened with multiple servers. We'd love to see the service and menu reflect the quality music and atmosphere. Check my other reviews. They are...
