Edit: I stopped going to this location for a while because the inability to get my coffee right had become such an issue. But the next Starbucks is 40 minutes away and this one is only 20 and I've been a loyal Starbucks customer for almost 20 years so I wanted to give it another shot. And my first several cups were perfect. And then I got one that had no sweetener in it and not enough cream. Sucks, but okay, one time. Then I went again. This time it was perfect cream but again, no sweetener. When I went in to get it fixed the lady argued with me and told me I shouldn't go through the drive thru if I want my coffee made properly and then ranted at me over why they couldn't make my coffee correct because I wanted extra cream. But the issue was the sweetener, not the cream.
I was so happy to have a Starbucks close to my home. But I guess I'm just going to have to drive the extra 20 minutes each way because this Starbucks can't get it together.
Let me know when you hire management who knows what they're doing.
I love Starbucks. It is my go-to coffee place. But for some reason, I consistently have issues with my coffee being made improperly at this location, especially since they got the new coffee machine. I'm not ordering anything complicated, just a coffee with extra cream and sugar free syrup. Four out of five times, it doesn't have enough cream.
I have tried ordering it differently. Asking for a smaller coffee in a cup the next size up so there's room for cream. Still no go.
Once, the woman at the window offered to give me an extra cup of cream, but the coffee was so full, I couldn't add any. I asked her if she could pour some off and she said no. When I said I'd pour it off in the parking lot, she changed her mind and fixed my coffee.
Another time, the barista said I needed to drive back around or come inside to get my coffee made the way I had asked. She said it was because there were cars behind me. There was one.
Today, I again didn't get enough cream. So I went inside and asked the barista if she could help me figure out how to order my drink so it came out the same way every time. Because 1 out of 5 times, it's perfect. She told me I could ask for a cup of cream on the side. This is super wasteful and doesn't help me when the coffee is filled to the brim. She said I could ask for extra, extra cream, but when I've done that in the past, my coffee was white.
This happens occasionally at other Starbucks locations, but very occasionally. Maybe one out of ten drinks is wrong from other locations, as opposed to the four out of five here. I was so happy to have a closer Starbucks, but I might start driving the extra 20 minutes to another one. Because the alternative is that I need to check my coffee every single time I order it and plan for extra time to go inside and have it fixed. That's just so crazy to me and I simply don't understand why it's even an issue, to be honest.
Oh, and to the manager responding to this, I can't copy the link you shared on someone else's post, so sharing that as a place where I can talk about my experience isn't...
Read moreAvoid this Starbucks location at all costs. I've never had a good experience here—they are consistently incapable of getting an order correct. I went for a latte and asked for a non-dairy milk, stating that I am lactose intolerant. They made my latte with regular milk, and when I returned to have it remade, they used the correct non-dairy milk but excluded the flavoring I had ordered and paid for. The store was not that busy, no one else in line either time and only two cars in the drive-thru. Having worked in a coffee shop in a much busier area, I can say from personal experience that it is not remotely difficult to make these drinks properly. This was just one of many, many disappointing experiences at this particular store, issues that I have not had at any other location. Starbucks needs to improve their training and their standards...
Read moreI visit star bucks very often at multiple locations and Milford is by far the best. I stopped by there on a saturday and there were only 3 people working the entire store and there were tons of people being nasty to the workers about the service. Olivia, “L-Rod” and Tyler were all working very hard to serve all the customers. Yes, I did have to wait upwards of 20 minutes, but my coffee was perfect by “L-Rod” and everyone was friendly. I see Olivia and Tyler here nearly every time I come and they are both always so pleasant to interact with, as are all the workers here. Way to go Milford Starbucks! I will always continue to give you guys my buisness since you know how to make a...
