Wok Wok — Restaurant in Milford

Wow…been going to Wok Wok for 13 years and it has gone totally downhill. Don’t bother trying to talk to anyone to complain they will not take responsibility. Always messing up orders and when you call you get told I didn’t pack up your order…well I didn’t either. Decided to give them one more chance for New Year’s and placed what I thought to be a large order. Well over $100.00. Everything was cold, chicken fingers hard and rubbery, boneless spareribs burnt. Couldn’t even give the left overs away. When I called I was told I was the first complaint they have gotten in 13 years. Hmmm…funny since I just called them last month about a wrong order. I was told that Chinese food is ALWAYS cold on New Year’s because they are so busy. The women said people spend $200 to $400 on orders at New Year’s so my order really wasn’t that much!! What??? We will never go...

Amazing food. I ordered a meal of white rice, broccoli, and orange chicken, and while that sounds simple, everything about the food was done to perfection. Let’s go down the list, one by one.

Rice: cooked to perfection - neither dry nor wet/sticky.

Broccoli: simply lovely, I have no complaints! Neither under nor overly cooked. The broccoli they used was fresh and had a nice crunch.

Orange chicken: the star of the show! First, let’s talk about the sauce - it’s delicious. The sauce was definitely homemade, not from a jar that a lot of takeout places use; this one has soul. Was our go to place after New Kun Garden closed in Brookline but after today i will not be going back. I know prices have gone up but i ordered less food than usual and it came to a whopping $75...more than ive ever spent on chinese food. We get home and realize they did not give us everything we ordered nor did they give us the white rice that comes with the meal. When i called to let them know, they said we didnt order it even though i had the list in front of me of what we had ordered. They said i could reorder for free, but that is a half hour out of my way and to top it off the food was suprisingly bad compared to what we are used to.
