A bad experience! I order from Dover extremely often and never have a problem. This is the third time I went to the Milford location. The first time a middle aged guy was there; I didn't experience any problems. The next time I had called my order in, because I had very little time between work and school. My order was not made correctly and I didn't have time to wait. Tonight, as usual in a hurry; I called up to place my order to save time. I was told 10-15 minutes. At eight minutes I had arrived and could see only one couple in the establishment. I called to see if it was really going to take 10-15. This person told me 5-10 minutes. It was already 8 minutes, so I asked if it was done, she said almost. I went in at 10 minutes, at which she asked me my name, then we walked away, came back asked me my name again and cashed me out. At which point, I waited more than 10 minutes more before asking her how much longer. She said, it's almost done, as I watched the cook put cheese on one burger after another, so I knew none of these were mine. When I asked the third time how much longer, because I was going to have to leave if I didn't get my burger, I got a very rude response saying that if I didn't like it I should go to a fast food place (ah hello, maybe you should realize Wayback is a fast food place) and she said I should go to McDonalds, that they were busy. Meanwhile, I watched the four other orders get packed up and they got their food while I still waited and had to deal with the rude young girl. Finally, I asked the taller dark haired girl about my order and who the manager was. She was very nice, apologetic and got my order. I asked the rude girl her name, but I am not even trusting that she gave her correct name, so I will omit it. If she worked for me; she'd be getting fired. I don't eat McDonalds, but I don't think their managers would allow such a rude person taking to their customers like this. It should not take 25 minutes to make a burger, especially if I'm told 5-15 minutes and no one should have to deal with arrogant cashiers. I am now wondering if she didn't put my order in until I arrived, but I was there awhile before she told the cook that...
Read moreI’ve read reviews that say service can be slow at the location south of this one; we hit them at 2:30 pm and under no stress so think we got excellent service beyond some hiccups. Everything cooked to order. They have a huge menu, lots of choices and that might have caused some issues as I was placing our order, nice girl seemed to have issues finding stuff to punch in to computer. She got the good ordering fixed items off the menu, she got a “Big Easy Burger”, it has some slightly hot sauce that was good, her fries were fresh and crispy. Her coke and all large drinks even ice tea must be a high profit items at $4.49. The ketchup was off brand but she liked everything. I ordered À la cart and this might have been part of the problem. I ordered a burger with: fried onions, lettuce, bacon and cheddar. It was delivered with fresh onions, I could see yellow but could not taste cheese and no bacon was found. I did really liked the side order chocolate shake and Mac & cheese fried crispy bits. When this is a typical fast food place, they take your name and deliver the food to your table. Several tables napkin dispensers were empty but the place is clean and after we were done a guy asked how we liked it. I mentioned the onions & he asked if he took my order…I just don’t want to upset him with the rest of the stuff…even though I was not wild about my having just spent $35, I wasn’t looking for anything back… To close and in review, my burger had taste that was ok but unremarkable. They are making considerable efforts to go an extra mile and be special. Certainly if you are bored of the typical franchise places this is worth a try but I’d just assume eat a burger from Burger King, I’m a fan of that bacon double cheeseburger; something about the Burger King “flame grill” imparts what is lacking from Wayback...
Read moreI came here with barely any expectations because of the few number of restaurants in the area.
The prices are a bit high with a custom built single paddy burger about $4, and the cheesesteak about $7.50 for what I wanna say is a 6". However it's very worth it from this first experience.
The overall food is great quality, and I really mean that. The meat seems to be very lean and has a really good texture, I'm not sure how they could get better meat and they cook it perfectly.
The milkshakes are unbelievable and rich, they maybe the realist most flavorful milkshakes I've ever had.
The service(from my ONE experience), is that the employees seem to be very nice and morale seems to be really good here, which seems to make the atmosphere pretty calm compared to some "fast food" places.
The interior of the restaurant is very warm and relaxed, not very fast food and...
