Port of Subs — Restaurant in Mill Creek

Tasty sandwiches like usual here. Don't get a chance to eat here often as it's off of my usual path, however, I receives a Port of Subs gift card so I made sure to find time to stop in to grab dinner. The only downfall to an otherwise great experience was the unfamiliarity with their own gift cards. First, the employee working thought it was their rewards card and kept trying to hand it back to me when I was trying to pay with it, which led to the initial confusion, then when I realized what was going on I explained that I wanted to use that to pay for my sandwich (I didn't have any cash on hand, so I made sure to be patient).Finally understanding it was a gift card, the employee tried to process the sale well over a dozen times without success, I suggested manually typing it in, or even checking the balance and then KEEP the card until owner/manager comes in next and can process it and I will pick my card up another day... Like I said, with no cash on hand, I was was trying to avoid an awkward situation and was determined to use it to cover my purchase ($8.00) and come home with dinner. While another customer was assisted, I tried reaching a corporate number for Port of Subs without any luck before ultimately using my cell and calling the phone number listed on the back of the to go menu, for the Marysville location and while they probably found it odd that a customer from the Everett store was calling to find out how to process a sale using a gift card for payment...my idea worked and after putting the employees on the phone with oneanother, the location I called kindly guided the confused, albeit patient, employee through the proper process and the transaction went thru perfectly before I was handed my cell phone back and thanked me profusely for my patience and and offered a wish of a...

I ordered for delivery on their website which showed available for delivery. I then order my 8" sub. On my confirmation email then shows pick up time rather than order time. I call the business to explain their website promised a delivery and in fact this was misleading. I asked for a refund which was refused and actually the person on the phone was very argumentative though I just wanted a peaceful solution.. The person then explained over the phone they would deliver it to my business address but only at the expence of an extra 10 dollars in cash. I went along with it because I wanted to just get my food because I was hungry. Ended up paying 22.50 for a 8" sub from this place. I reccomend to find a new place to order from. The sandwich was not even edible. WATCH OUT. They may try to take advantage of more people...

I dropped in every time I do a vehicle transaction since it is right next to the DMV office. Being from back east, I really enjoy an italian style grinder and these guys offer a good one. To qualify, you need capicolla and they make it good. I have also tried their pastrami, as well as their turkey-bacon...equally enjoyable. Not sure why there aren't more around, they make a good sandwhich. The service at this location is always good, and you get a good view of the kitchen area that looks spotless.
