Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Millcreek Township

Unfortunately, this place was hit hard with shrinkflation! A 3-piece chicken dinner with two sides is $10! No drink. The pieces of chicken are about half of what they used to be! The serving of fries was about half to 2/3 of what you used to get and the coleslaw was about 1/3 of what you used to get. Staff wasn't overly friendly and sadly I think the person that waited on us was actually the manager. Like most places right now they're suffering from staff shortage so there was one cook and a manager. The place was under construction inside so it's hard to tell anything about the atmosphere. The fact that they are putting money into it and redecorating at least says that they're going to be staying. Unfortunately at those prices and serving sizes I'll have to pass! It cost us close to $30 and that was with just one drink. Absolutely ridiculous, especially with those portion sizes! I used to never be able to eat all three pieces or all of the fries! This time not only could I eat all 3 pieces plus the fries, but I could have probably eaten 2 more pieces of...

The dining area was very dirty. Not just dirty tables from customers. The seats were dirty. The window sills were dirty. The entire area was dirty.The dining area needs a good fall cleaning. I can understand tables not being wiped off from customers, when you're busy. But they were not busy. The area where you fill up your pop was very dirty. Not from spills from grine from days and days from not being cleaned. In the area where you get your condiments was very dirty too. And not just normal spills, dirt! I was surprised at how clean the bathrooms were. I really needed to use the washroom and was almost afraid to go in there. But it was satisfactory. It could use a good cleaning also. But it was much cleaner than the entire restaurant. Somebody really needs to clean that place up. I love Long John silver's their food is awesome. And I stopped every opportunity I get, that I'm out that way. Because I live in the Wattsburg area. almost 30 miles from a Long John silver's. Sorry to give you a bad report but your restaurant is filthy. Please clean it up....

I really needed to update my post. If I were a health inspector I would shut this place down. It is very worn down and needs to have a new set of eyes looking in on what needs to be fixed. Starting with the bathrooms. There is so much build up on the walls it's disgusting. Mold is growing on the walls in the dining room on the Arby's side in the first booth. Behind the counter is disgusting. Missing doors, cabinets need replaced, and really just an overhaul and an update. The employees were were nice but no one cared to go and clean the messes up on the floor in the dining room. The prices are ridiculous too. It was ten bucks for 2 chicken fries and 2 hushpuppies. Back in the day that meal was 2.99. Inflation or not that is way too much. And i never see coupons anymore. This Long John Silvers has seen better days. Must have gone franchise because when corporate was in control this place...
