I didn’t eat, and didn’t go inside. This location has always been a coffee shop but somehow never makes it long and I was sitting in line thinking about why, because I genuinely want this place to succeed this time- it’s a great location!! One of the most annoying things about this place is the line. Please for the love of god, invest in an intercom system so that the order taking and fulfilling can move quickly. When people want coffee/tea drinks they need a quick pick me up to get on with their day. A 45 minute wait time where you are literally stuck in line and can’t , by the time you get to the window you forget what you even planned to order. I really hope someone has the smarts to get an intercom system because this location could really be great. We ordered a strawberry matcha, a dirty chai, and a black tea. They did forget the strawberry in the matcha, and the ice was pretty melted. Other than that it was alright. The service was fine, but why is there one person working both the full drive thru and the full lobby? Do we have to see that he has a dip in his mouth? Other than that...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but I was so impressed by the kindness of one employee that I felt compelled to share my experience:
Two customers came in to purchase drinks, but shortly after, the Wi-Fi went out, preventing them from paying with a card. Instead of turning them away, the employee generously gave them their drinks for free. Any reasonable person would be grateful for such a kind gesture. I was blown away when these customers failed to acknowledge his generosity and did not even give him a simple “thank you”. It was hard to watch these two very rude customers show a lack of appreciation for this employee who was trying his best, and was alone behind the counter. It is especially sad to see people act this way towards employees of a locally owned business that is just starting out. I was very impressed by the employee who remained professional and served them with a positive attitude despite the customers’ lack of manners.
Small acts of kindness like this define exceptional customer service. Good job to this employee for going...
Read moreI really want this place to succeed. I loved the Brick House, but I was very unhappy with my first experience at Lucky Bean. The staff was very friendly. The building was very clean, and well decorated. The wait was a bit long and I did see one customer walk out. When my coffee was poured the coffee urn was turned on it's side until every last drop was gone. The bottom of a coffee urn should be emptied into a newly brewed urn and not into a customers cup. It was very weak as was my sons. They were out of Splenda, so nothing for diabetics, The only place I saw to add sugar was in front of the resister, or in front of where you order. The other counter was too high. I know this is a new endeavor and every business has growing pains, but they need to possibly add another coffee urn so there is always coffee in reserve, maybe add a sweetner dispenser and put in behind the counter or put in a counter by where the sweetner currently is. Check inventory of sweetner before you leave at night. I wish you success, and I...
