I'm giving this a three (3) star only because Abbey was incredibly sincere, and a joy to work with... if it weren't for her, this is a solid one-star. The store is beautiful, I'll give them that.. the selection is top-notch.. but the 'experience' needs refined. Five month's prior to the wedding we began fitting all the groomsmen. That includes two from out of town... all measurements were complete and everything was set... so I thought... I called 10 days prior to make sure everything was still good to go, and they said they had ALL suits except for one of the ring bearers.. then, after receiving two calls that all the groomsmen's (6) suits were in, I relayed to the guys to pick them up... well, when the Best Man went to pick his up, it was non-existent.. they forgot to place his order..that was not good, because he was travelling out of town that day and would not be back until the day before the wedding... Isaac Baker did place the expedited order, and it did come in before the wedding, but not after the BM had to change his vacation to allow himself barely enough time to get the suit adjusted.. which the hem needed to be readjusted because it looked terrible at the ankles.. my groomsmen all ended up using their own white dress shirts, the rental ones were way oversized, and my vest looked terrible,..no discount was offered, not even a coffee from the cafe beside the store, after I forked over $1100.00 for the rentals, they called me AFTER the wedding and said they forgot to charge me for one more... there goes another $161.20, well, they could have at least thrown in a free tie... 🤣... I think they have excellent potential if they work on their systems and can fix their point-of-sale system and drop the carbon-copy paperwork.
PS. I really do not want a handout, I just need to show our perspective, a little constructive criticism can go a long way. I know things can fall-through-the-cracks, and I'm sure your rental vendor can be less than adequate, but, You guys have an excellent store, if you improve a couple things,...
Read moreGood in store experience but they have a problem either with completion time estimates or communication. I was told 2 weeks to tailor my new suit... that's fine, I wouldn't have took issue if I had been told 2 months (assuming good reason). But at 2 weeks no call. I gave it a 3rd week and no call. So I called them Monday morning. It is ready. Hmm. Did they finish it first thing that morning before my call? Highly unlikely. Friday but just didn't call? Doubtful but plausible. I have the feeling it has been sitting there finished all week.
So I go in and try it on and some pant leg adjustment is needed. My phone number is verified. I'm told 1 week. Waited 1 week and no call. Waited 2 weeks and just went in. Surprise, its done! I'm guessing a week ago...
Can't be sure which but they need to add one week to estimates or actually inform people when suits are...
