I was very disappointed with my experience at Nail Creations. They clearly took on way too many clients at once. People were sitting in the pedicure chairs waiting with no staff even helping them.
I asked for a gel pedicure and it definitely was not gel. When I got home, my toes were smudged because they put regular polish on them instead. I wasnât about to drive back because even if they âfixedâ it, I knew it would still look SO bad. Honestly, it looked like a kindergartener painted my toes in the first place. I was not going back to have them âfixâ it because no one in there knew what they were doing besides Nga and her husband.
I ended up going to the mall to M Nails & Spa that night to have them fixed. They needed fixed. I was not letting people see these toes. They were horrendous. I didnât go back to Nail Creations to have them fix them because I didnât want to deal with the âprofessional nail techs.â They donât seem like theyâve painted a toenail in their life. One lady was painting someoneâs toes and didnât even know which polishes were base coat and top coat. She didnât know anything about the pedicure station or the massage chairs either. It was evident she had no training in the nail industry at all. She was just thrown into the nail tech position.
The person who did my pedicure didnât even take a file or clippers to my toenails. No filing, no clipping, no cuticle work, nothing. The whole thing was awful because the staff working there have no experience whatsoever. I was embarrassed by how my toes looked, and on top of that they were smudged because they used regular polish instead of gel. There was even polish everywhere on my skin, around my toenails, when I left. I wasnât going back in to have them âfixâ it â I didnât want them touching my feet again. The only person in that salon who knows anything about nails is Nga and her husband, and thatâs it.
At M Nails & Spa, they fixed me up with pink chrome and it was beautiful. They massaged my legs and feet forever, paid attention to detail, and cleaned up my toenails the right way. They actually worked on the maintenance of my toes FOREVER which is saying something. They had that much work to do on my toes WHEN I JUST CAME OUT OF NAIL CREATIONS?!?! Yikes.
Please do not go to Nail Creations. You will be so incredibly disappointed. Overall, the work I received at Nail Creations was completely unacceptableâit genuinely looked like something a kindergartener had painted. The staff Nga has working for her clearly have no idea what they are doing, and it shows in every detail...
Read moreThese are probably the worst nails Iâve ever gotten, and the most sketchy and unprofessional place Iâve gotten my nails done and TRUST ME Iâve been to some hole in the wall places, but this takes the cake for the worst. The cleanliness of this place, there isnât any cleanliness letâs just say that. The staff was very unprofessional (nice to us) but unprofessional when it came to talking mess about their other coworkers while customers were in the salon. We walk in and one of the workers is getting a pedicure, then we are asked to wait for more help to come (which was the first red flag but we were trying to give it a chance). Then we are sat down and this lady (who is new but I guess has worked there before and left?) was told to take off our polish (she used the same drill bit on me and my sister and probably on many other people) didnât use the right tools my my friends so she was bring her, the owner then stepped in to help and show her but was rude to the girl as she was âteachingâ her. The kicker was my friends nails turned out HORRIBLE because the owner who was doing them and also âtrainingâ this new girl how to do it was on her phone non stop, eating chocolate while doing the set, and being messy telling us the colors we picked were ugly etc and bullying her new employee. I did not see them clean a tool the whole time I was there. THEN the owner lays my acrylic (I was just getting a fill, the place we normally go to couldnât take us at a decent time) the instructed the other girl (I think her name was Polly) to finish my nails stating she laid the acrylic, but they needed shaped still and the polish. She proceeded to not shape my nails up and just start polishing them. Then after she puts the polish on them she barely used the file to âfile down any uneven and sharp piecesâ thatâs why my fingers look so chunky and missed shaped. We didnât read the reviews until we got home, but according to the reviews the only reason they have such a high rating is because they have people post fake reviews. Also if you work there and your name is Meadow them girls are not your friends and was talking mess more then they were working and thatâs why my nails turned out the way they did because they were too worried about being unprofessional and talking down on other people to make their work look better but in all actuality I wish Meadow was there because all the good nails posted and good reviews are all from her work. Have the day you deserve, and meadow honey get out of that hole in the wall and go somewhere youâre...
Read moreLet me start by saying the girl was very nice. Had my appointment 4/22 at 11:30 am was done after 2:00pm. Started with pedi no liner in tub never had that before elsewhere which made me nervous. I donât want fungus on my feet. Wanted ombre toe nails. She was using a brush for the tip painting one higher than the other. I let her know I decided I didnât want it because of how it was coming out. So I said I wanted a natural look to make it easier for her. Honestly I donât think she knew how to do ombre color. The tips of my toes are not painted all the way even with the simple solid pink. I was hesitant to do my manicure but I went with the same plain color. Went with the clear powder then the pink on my natural nails. I personally think she went up to high toward the cuticle which started to lift with just a few hand washes. Here we are on 4/23. Called to let them know I wasnât satisfied said they donât give refunds that I could go and have them redone I donât have time I explained I have a wedding to go to on Friday out of town. I live 45 minutes away from the nail salon. This really makes me upset. Not at the girl cuz she tried but I donât think she had enough experience in what I wanted done and she was the only one there. Iv had ombrĂŠ done different ways with a sponge and airbrush and she tried to use a painting brush with wide bristles. She said she would call me back to let me know what they could do. Letâs seeâŚâŚI paid $115 just to be clear. Management finally called me back. She said to go back and have them redone by someone else or she would do them. No refunds itâs the policy she said. I told her I already got a bad taste in my mouth why would I go back to ruin my nails completely. I asked if there was another way to compensate me for the money spent. She said no. We will fix your nails. I told her I will never return and I would never recommend this place to anyone. I know it was a waste of my time all the way around and why would you leave someone alone to run the store if sheâs not fully trained as a nail tech in all areas including ombre color. Mind you Iâm not one to give bad reviews but when it comes to my money thatâs a different story. People please go somewhere else this place is sketchy. Look at other nails like mine on the reviews they look like the same person did them. Their thick and oddly shaped and peeling away from the cuticle. Hope this helps. I wish I would of saw the reviews...
