Where do I start with how bad this place is let's say I worked there was horrified mistreated, but that didn't mean i don't know how they operate. First of all of you are looking for freshness look elsewhere this place will give you a pizza made of dough 3 days old and put toppings on it that could be up to an entire week old. They don't properly wash a thing in the place and even if you tried they would tell you to do it there way, which of repulsive, rinse and drip dry. Now let's move onto management and employees they will actually hire someone for a manager position at the age of 18 which of problematic due to lack of experience and life in general, instead of looking for quality employees they hire anyone with a pulse no matter how rude, uneducated and unprofessional they might be, and top of all this they treat the employees like dogs, no brakes no drinks no food, no respect. I've worked on over ten pizzerias and this is easily the worst one I've ever had the displeasure of calling an employer. I won't even get into how many bugs and germs are floating all over your cardboard style pizza but it sure isn't cheese or pepperoni. But, I feel the experience I had as well as several others needs to be addressed (but I can only speak for myself) I walk into the establishment about 445 when my order was for 5 pm, there were several people I in there waiting already. I went up to the young man at the counter, who was mentally delayed. I checked on my order and he advised they are working on it and itâll be up shortly. So I wait about 30 mins longer. I check back with a different person and they tell me there are 30 orders ahead of mine. I cancelled my order and went with a backup plan.
I am not blaming the young man at the counter, Iâm sure he had no idea what was going on in the kitchen. What is upsetting is I overheard a worker state they had 50 online orders for 5 pm. I know there is a way to disable online ordering, why wasnât it done. Why would an establishment continue to take orders knowing they would not be able to fulfill orders in a timely manner. That was poor customer service that could have been alleviated had they turned off online orders or made it knows that we would be waiting hours...
   Read moreI was passing through with my aunts and brother to New York, and I suggested Marco's. We ordered a Pepperoni Magnifico and Garlic Wings! Bill, the employee who served us, was amazing. He had an excellent attitude and was very respectful towards us. He was informative and quick to meet any needs. We were planning to eat in our vehicle, and the temperature was 14°F. Bill BROUGHT OUR FOOD OUT TO US! He went above and beyond in the name of Marco's and customer service. The food was ready quickly as well, and it tasted excellent! My aunt generally really dislikes Pizza, but she really liked Marco's. I have had many experiences in Erie where my food has been messed up, but Marco's has not provided me with that experience.
