"What an incredible experience at our local KFC/Taco Bell on 3300 South and 2980 East! We've been living in the neighborhood for years and have never seen it this busy, yet the service was absolutely top-notch. It was a refreshing reminder of how a well-run establishment can handle a rush with grace and efficiency. The staff were all smiles, incredibly friendly, and our order was ready in what felt like no time at all. It's a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team there. We came in expecting the usual KFC and Taco Bell fare, but what we received was something truly special. The KFC nuggets were fresh out of the fryer, piping hot, and perfectly crispy. It's not often you get them so unbelievably fresh, and it made all the difference. The star of the show, however, was a complete surprise. The Taco Bell side of the order, which often feels like an afterthought at these combined locations, was out of this world. Every single item was made with care, generously filled, and tasted so fresh it was almost unbelievable. It was the kind of quality you'd expect from a standalone, high-end fast-food spot, not a busy combo store. One of the things that immediately struck us was the cleanliness of the entire restaurant. Despite the immense crowd, every surface was spotless, and the dining area was well-maintained. The layout of the store is also great; you can see a lot of the operation, which gives you confidence in the entire process. It’s clear that the management and staff take immense pride in their work and the environment they create for their customers. This visit has completely changed our perspective on our local spot. The exceptional service, the minimal wait despite the crowds, the spotless environment, and the unbelievably fresh and delicious food—especially that incredible Taco Bell—make this a truly outstanding location. We've been coming here for years, but this recent visit was on a whole new level. We can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a perfect...
Read moreRegarding the food: Taste-wise, Kentucky Fried Chicken is Kentucky Fried Chicken, wherever you buy it. The problem with the food is that they are regularly running out of chicken. I have gone there several times as early as 7:30- 7:45 and they didn't have enough chicken for a 12-piece meal and they weren't going to make any more that night. Tonight is a classic case: 7:45 on a Friday Night, swamped with customers, out of chicken and pushing Their taco Bell menu because they don't have anyone to make more chicken.
Regarding store: As many other reviewers said, the whole place is generally not very clean and the restrooms are awful.
Regarding the staff: ALWAYS understaffed! rarely friendly and very often rude. Case in point - about a month ago, I called to order a family meal 20-piece. A young woman who answered with a "KFC, what do you want?" I asked the price of what I was going to order. She said "I don't know, probably about $50.00." I asked aren't you in the store? " She said. "I don't have the prices memorized. I am the only cashier here and right now we are busy and I am not going to interrupt taking care of the customer's in the store to look that price up for you."
If I could give them "zero" stars, I would. I am done with that...
Read moreWe have been up to this location a lot. Lately it’s been really hit or miss. Tonight (5/2/23) around 6. and it was horrible. I ordered chicken tenders with a side of Cole slaw. I received fries instead. Not a big deal, except the fries were stale. They tasted awful. Shouldn’t they be fresh with what would normally be their busy time? The chicken was hardly edible. It was chewy and dry and i couldn’t even pull it into pieces. Most of it was hard as a rock. Too tough to bite into. The small pieces i got pulled off were chewy. How long was that sitting there? It even looked awful. My husband got tacos and a burrito. They were ok, but not great. The burrito was almost half the size they used to be and yet their prices have gone way up. I can get better value for the money just about anywhere nearby. Restaurants are using the pandemic and supply chain issues as an excuse to provide poor service and raise prices, while cutting back the food. The breading on the chicken was 4x the thickness of the chicken. It didn’t even taste like kfc. We will not be back to this location and may have to give up kfc altogether if they are all this poor quality. Going to KFC used to be a wonderful treat. Now...
