I unfortunately stopped in here for dinner last night...I was immediately shocked that a burrito I wanted to try was 1409..:so I opted for my usual carne asada fries that are usually around 12 to 13 bucks at most betos..but here surprise surprise there 1409..so reluctantly I ordered them even though the lady taking my order looked as if she was taking the order of her absolute enemy...so I paid with 15 dollars and 10 cents .and the lady says ok have a nice day. As someone would say if you paid with exact change...I was going to leave the dollar for a tip.. Even though it definitely wasn't earned in any way shape or form..I could go on and on about her lack of customer service but will just leave it at she either doesn't posses customer service skills or wasn't about to show me any she did posses ..but the fact that you just expect me to tip and where basically telling me you weren't going to give me my change really got my goat . So I stood there until she gave me my change...then I here her switch to Spanish and start addressing the cook ..and the both have a good row of laughter I assume was at my expense.. however I can't be sure because I don't speak Spanish...wich I'm thinking I should learn so I'm able to react accordingly if such situations arise..anyways I get my food and my fry's are the big thick fry's not the shoestrings like advertised and all betos use .and serverly old or severely undercooked.. so I basically spent 1409 on a plate of food I could not eat... And that betos has forever lost a customer.. because I work to hard for my money to just give it to rude false advertising companies that don't care one bit about there customers that are the only reason they have a restaurant in the first place..and I strongly suggest to anyone thinking of eating there to not do if...on 900 south state is a taco stand that sells huge delicious burritos for 9 dollars and the guys that run it are awesome, friendly, respectful...and really care about there customers...and the food is 10 times better. I eat there all the time and never once has it been nothing but 10s across the board ..in fact I'm there right now after my awful meal last night...an awesome burrito is in order.. I strongly suggest you try that taco stand over this...
Read moreThe customer service at this establishment is by far the worst I have ever encountered. Truly disappointing. The workers are incredibly rude and disrespectful, making the overall experience extremely unpleasant. Additionally, the quality of the food is absolutely terrible, which could possibly be attributed to the mediocre staff that this place has employed. It was quite frustrating to see signs indicating that they close at midnight, only to find out that they often close as early as 9PM. This has happened on MULTIPLE occasions. The management and staff's performance was nothing short of a joke. It is my sincere hope that they strive for improvement by hiring and training better individuals. This whole experience was simply ridiculous and...
Read moreIt’s a nice location. Food is not good or consistent. Definitely below average Mexican food. The chicken burrito used to be 100% chicken (which was kinda cool), and now it’s mostly rice.
It took me a half hour to eat my carne asada burrito. It was all chewy fat, and they forgot to salt it.
Service has been OK, but it is slower than average and they do ask for automatic tips starting at 15%. Tipping 15% on a drive through is insulting to actual waiters who get 20% for a full service meal.
This place used to be packed when it was Hectors, now nobody is ever in the drive through. I hope management can teach these guys to cook, because I will give more chances...
