So, me and my husband found this place about two months ago and we went in and shared a pizza. It was amazing! The guys working there were very friendly and they were very easy to work with in terms of my chicken allergy. I really loved the place and it just so happens that I work down the road from there (9 minute drive). So I asked the guy working if they did delivery and he said that 90% of the time that they have their own driver and that theyād be more than happy to deliver to me. I was so happy as their pizza is really good and just blew me away. I figured that since it was so close to work and that it was fairly inexpensive, I could order on the days I donāt want to pack lunch. The thing is, I work with and in the OR so I have to be in sterile scrubs. And if I have to leave the building, I have to change out of everything including shoes and caps and such. So pickup at most places is not an option as that process takes way too much time and eats into my lunch. So since this place has delivery, it was so perfect. I usually take my lunches when they open, so I usually call about 10-15 minutes after 11am so that I can get an estimate on when a delivery driver will be there. Unfortunately, I called for a week straight and they had no driver. They kept giving me different reasons and such as to why they didnāt. And I did go pick up a pizza one day since I was starving and didnāt really care. It made me late getting back to work and I was fine with it that time. But the other times, especially the weekends as Iām the only person here, I need delivery. But they, for a week straight, didnāt have anyone. Last time I reached out, they acknowledged it and said that it was hard hiring people to deliver and that they constantly had to do DoorDash and such. So they lied to me. The guy said that heād love to work something out with me, but never elaborated so I was left wondering what do I do. Iāve decided that Iām not going to go back as I donāt tolerate lying to me to get my business. Amazing pizza, great atmosphere, so I do recommend getting takeout. But I canāt do takeout all that often so I will not be returning. Thank you.
Edit: I know very well what the website says. Which is why I asked in person to be sure. Thatās where the lying comes from. And trust me, I know about running a small business, I run one myself. Not food industry, but I still have a small business. So I completely understand the money issues and comfort over pay. I love that you have that kind of morale. It is simply the fact that an actual member of your team, who knows that comfort over pay thing, Iām sure, told me wrong information. Itās not that I donāt understand, so donāt assume that I donāt. Itās the fact, like Iāve stated, that they lied to me in person when they know the information you told me. That...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was exploring Reddit for the best pizza in Utah, and Victor's Pizza Co continually topped people's list, so I had to give it a try. We ordered a 14" Royale with Cheese, a 16" half Chopper and half Mia, a 12" Taj Mahal, 6 pcs Mango Habanero Chicken Wings, 6pcs Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wings, and a "You Never Can Tell" Raspberry Pie. For the record, the raspberry dessert pie was an over-the-moon highlight for us. The whole family fought over every slice, so I highly recommend. All the pizzas were excellent. The general consensus was individuals tended to favor the pie they had requested, and only liked the pies they hadn't. So trust your eyes and your gut when ordering and you'll land a home run. For me, the Chopper was #1, and I plan on ordering The Gimp, Honey Bunny, Marvin, and Bad Mother Clucker on future visits. The wings are good and meaty, but the Spicy Buffalo had no spice. Still good, but zero heat. I enjoyed the heat and flavor from the Mango Habanero though. Did I mention the raspberry pie? Seriously, you've got to add it to your order. I'm still having food dreams about it.
The staff here are phenomenal. If I was a recruiter seeking customer service staff, I'd pull directly from the employees at Victor's. I called my order in, and the gal on the phone was friendly, helpful, and went out of her way to get me a good deal. I really appreciated her going above and beyond. Picking up the pizza in store was equally as good of an experience.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is awesome. I love the decor, and wish I could've eaten in house (although the A/C was out so maybe it was better I couldn't this time round). The only negative is parking. I'm still not sure where you're supposed to park, but I snagged a spot at the restaurant next door for a quick pickup.
Victor's Pizza Co is an awesome pizza spot and I love the local business. It's a pricier place for pizza, especially compared to the big chains, but it's quality and filling so you get your bang for your buck. Now that I've found Victor's, I'll continue to darken their doors and keep their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe just found Victor's last weekend and ordered delivery on a whim, to try something new and because we were so thoroughly entertained by all the Pulp Fiction references. Just our luck, the pizza happens to be delicious too! In fact, my very picky 8 year old (yes, even picky about pizza, so we can't order from just anywhere) took only one bite and then turned to me and asked, where did this pizza come from? I told him it was a new place we were trying, called Victor's. To which he loudly proclaimed, "this is the best pizza ever!" He just had a build your own with pepperoni, but felt very strongly about it. I had ordered the Mia and after trying mine, actually agreed with him. It's a fantastic pizza. So much so that we had to find them in person this weekend and order carry out, so we could try other flavors. We ordered the summer special, Ezekiel 25:17, and I hope it sticks around beyond summer because that was delicious! Also a Big Kahuna and another build your own that were both very good. I only wish Victor's had another, closer to us location, but that won't stop us from continuing to order here. You...
