Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Millsboro

This is the worst Papa Johns I have come across yet. Papa Johns is not what they were years ago and you can tell by the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff.

On March 17, 2023 I placed an order only to find out once it was delivered that the food was burnt and missing items. Upon calling the store, I was hung up on at least 5 times so I filed a complaint with the corporate office.

Sunday the 19th I received a call back from the GM of the store and he assured me that he would get it taken care of and for me to give Papa Johns another chance.

Again today 23rd, I placed an order, the driver called me to inform me that my order was delivered. After informing him that it was delivered to the wrong place, he said he can't deliver it to me now then hung up on me.

I called the store after the neaderthal hung up on me and spoke to "Danny" a manager on duty who transferred me to another manager "Vej", neither of which were any help. After requesting my money back, I was hung up on by vej.

I called the customer support line and requested them to refund my money and will be boycotting Papa Johns from our facility from now on. The lack of intelligence and dishonesty with the employees...

I placed an order online for delivery and after it was confirmed, the address I had entered correctly was changed to some random one outside of the store's delivery radius. Weird website glitch I'm guessing? I was just about to call the store to explain and within like a minute of placing the order I received a call from the manager about the issue. I explained the situation which was easily solvable, however he went on to tell me that the store currently had no drivers in and that they were being forced to use Doordash for every order. He was very honest and apologetic about the issue and let me know that I may be waiting for hours to receive my order. I wanted to write this review because I just really appreciated the service and honestly of the manager and hopefully he is appreciated as an employee! He was extremely helpful and I'm so glad he didn't just fix the address issue and let me ruin my night waiting for a pizza for hours. I have worked in this business myself and am aware you can’t predict one day to the next but The store manager, who is entitled a day off like everyone is, only of had 2 staff working inside this extremely busy store on January 6th at dinner time. The 2 guys were frantically trying to prepare orders, box them, greet customers, ring up orders, and try to answer the phone- that was ringing and unable to be answered. Not sure how they could have taken a phone order as hectic as it was. The one guy was literally RUNNING trying to keep up. I just wanted to jump in and help as I felt so bad for them. Kudos to them both for doing the best they could and keeping their composure but at the same time us there not enough staff at all? And with Covid restrictions in place there was no way for the 2 to be able to monitor the amount people coming in as I saw as well as a few customers waiting in their cars. Sad!
