My visit to Tommy’s in tonight begin with about a 5 minute wait as we walked in and nobody was there to greet or seat us. Finally a waitress walked past us going to a table and mumbled “I’ll be with you in a minute. She finished with her table and walked past us again to go in the back before finally coming back out to seat us. She asked if we wanted a table or booth and I said doesn’t matter, this resulted in her giving me a dirty look, so I said table. So much for service with a smile, it was obvious she didn’t want to be there and at this point I was questioning my being there as well. After being seated we sat over 10 minutes without seeing her again before she came and asked if we wanted to order drinks or were we ready to order our meals to. We opted for burgers as the menu seemed very uninspired. My burger was Tommy’s mountain burger. First off the waitress did ask my girlfriend how we wanted her burger cooked and she asked for medium, I was not asked how I wanted mine cooked and the waitress was already walking away before I was done saying mountain burger. It came out rare... barely cooked enough to even be edible. The fried onions were diced to small and just barely a sprinkle worth on top and basically raw onion that saw at the most several seconds on a grill certainly no caramelized goodness I’m looking for in fried onions. I will say the bbq sauce was good and I liked the roll the burger was on but even at that the roll was to big for the burger. And the bacon was dried out nasty and cold. Which brings to mind another issue being our food was served on ice cold plates... so much for edible French fries as any heat they might have had was sucked right out of them. Overall very disappointed, I was here years ago and wasn’t impressed, thought I’d give them another try being as I...
Read moreA group of about 10 of us went here for lunch because it is conveniently located close to Six Flags. Our waitress was very nice and gave great service. The food was great overall, except one person at our table ordered a well-done burger that was way undercooked. So I prefer my meat rare, but my friend's burger's center was way too red..simply NOT ok to eat. So, my friend isn't fluent in English and she wasnt comfotable telling the waitress so she just stayed quiet about it until I spoke up for her. Our waitress did what she could but what shocked me is that the manager REFUSED to reduce the burger's price (which was not eaten) because my friend quote "ate the french fries" that came with it. Really?..the French fries? Finally, he compromised on reducing a full 4 dollars off our bill except the new receipt said he took it off the gratuity!!! (gratuity was listed on the bill bc we were group of 10). I was very clear when speaking with him that our waitress was excellent and that it was the one DISH that we were requesting be discounted. Well finally we just paid it and tried to give the waitress a cash tip instead so that she was not penalized for a mistake on the kitchen. Overall, good wait staff, foodwise 9 out of 10 meals tasted great, but we were surprised and unhappy...
Read moreIt be honest this place really sucks I will say this The one lady that was waitressing was doing a good job atmosphere was okay but the food was really bad My fiance had a she's cheese onion soup She said that the cheese was better than the soup and the soup was very bland We had our appetizer which were mozzarellas sticks and they were actually okay they were crispy and melt it perfectly but I had their burger and it started dripping out I had it done medium rare but it was dripping out and I paid no mind to it but I are and it was okay I enjoyed the fries a little bit more and My fiance had touch fish and chips and she said this tastes like frozen like something we could have cooked up at home I'm definitely not will be coming back here as much as the service was friendly I really did not enjoy the food It tasted like frozen food that I could have cooked at home instead of something fresh I would definitely recommend somewhere else though unless they improve their food or get a chef that cares...
