Gosh, this was going back to a world that once made sense. For several hours my friends and I got lost in our food,( blue berry pancakes, short stack and turkey sausage, two hot dogs, and two milkshakes), and an atmosphere of a neighborhood diner. We got there close to one thirty ( they close at three), and the diners there were laughing and talking to each other as well as staff that circled the diner tending to customer needs. It was noisy like a diner, and you could watch the cooks, sit at the counter to eat, while soaking in the sights of the signs, merchandise and cases featuring old time medicine paraphernalia, over by the pharmacy connected to the diner, and peruse Pittsburgh sports stuff for sale. My short stack was two of the crepes Pamela's is famous for and they were YUMMY....😋 The two who had milkshakes got served their glass, with the metal container that had the rest of their shakes, just like I remember a shake and ones I made as a waitress at Murphy's in the seventies in downtown Pittsburgh. What a blast from the past. Downside? Parking is not ideal. It's on street and paid parking (a quarter for an hour), the side walks were hard to navigate for us older folks, since they're a bit uneven. This might be difficult for someone with handicap issues. But for a short time, the four of us enjoyed our meals, and remembered our growing up experiences with laughter and a lot of " Remember this?" And " Remember that?" So thank you Lincoln's P & G Diner, and we...

Horrible!! Rude staff!! I watched them poor coffee into a different coffee pot that was under neath their kitchen counter near the floor all while a woman with short gray hair and glasses covered the waitress with her back in order for people to not see her do it. The girl then took a separate coffee pot, not the same one that was user for the rest of the patrons, and poured into a a young man’s and woman’s coffee cup. I believe there was an altercation between the waitress and the couple...it was almost like the entire staff were in cahoots with the waitress and we’re trying to position them or get them sick. The couple immediately said something to the host at the cash register because they too noticed the the girl grabbing a separate coffee pot for them from under the counter. I’ve never witnessed anything like this before at any place where food is served to people...I was horrified that I witnessed these employees try and get these people either sick or to knows what they were trying to do but they were all in on it together! I watched them and do did my husband! The couple walked out of the restaurant immediately. I felt so uncomfortable at what I had just seen!!! Stay away from this place, they seem...

It's been a number of years since I last went to this classic diner tucked into the small but busy Millvale main street- but it's just as good as I remember, maybe even more.

The location itself harkens back to yesteryear, with the diner sharing space with a pharmacy and small convenience store, and the cash only food counter is definitely a throwback. Overall, the space can feel a bit cramped and busy, but it sort of forces socialization that is often lacking in other modern locales, and the friendly staff makes the wait and the cramp far more manageable.

I had the classic Lincoln platter, with their speciality Lyonnaisse potatoes, choice of two eggs, breakfast meat and their highly unique and highly addictive thin and crispy hotcakes. The whole platter was delicious, but the pancakes stole the show, providing multiple textures and tons of flavor, with or without butter and syrup. My wife and daughter had hotcakes with meat, and I think my 1 year old ate a whole huge pancake on his own, so everyone left full and happy.

Definitely a must stop if in the area around breakfast or lunchtime, the location normally closes at 3, and really the kind of place worth making a point to travel to...
