I was working pretty hard today in my backyard painting my fence and decided to reward myself with McDonald’s afterward. It’s about 10:40 when I place my mobile order, and only the drive-thru option for pickup is available. I’m currently a minor, and the only source of transportation I have is an e-bike, so I come through the drive-thru to pick up my order. I ask for my food—even though I’m aware I’m not allowed to go through the drive-thru on a bike—and politely ask if I can come to the front to pick it up instead. They disregard everything I say and stop responding altogether after I kindly make the request to pick up my $20 order at the front. As I type this, I’m currently waiting by the door, and it has been about 15 minutes. I ended up having to call my father to come through the drive-thru just to get my food. Trying to pick up an order from a fast food restaurant shouldn’t be this hard. UPDATE: It is now 12:00 and I was waiting outside their door until the manager came out. While I was waiting the employees ignored me, ate some of the fries from my order and threw them away but the rest of my food I believe the employees took home since I saw them bag up left over food. When my father tried to pick up the order they just ignored him and tuned off the speaker phone. After the manager came out I asked if they were just gonna keep ignoring me while I was standing at the door, and when I had asked about my order they said I had came too late to pick it up. Keep in mind I placed my order at 10:30 and came at 10:35. They also continued to serve the rest of the customers coming through the drive through after I left the drive through. Tomorrow I will come 40 minutes before they stop serving breakfast because apparently half an hour is too late. I will also try to contact them from the official website. Every time I’ve been to this McDonald’s and get some food to eat with my friends, he walks up to me with someone else’s receipt and tries to get us to give the branch he works at good review in each criteria of the survey. It’s not like it just happened one time, EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here with friends he does it again. It’s not just me or my friends, he does it to every customer that walks in, ONLY when there are a few customers inside though. This last time, at which time I’m writing this review, he really got on my nerves when he even messed up my order and when he supposedly “fixed “ it, he just gave me back the same exact thing, causing me to have to reorder some of my food.
