Recent visit, along with constant errors with the drinks I've ordered in the past, led me to post this review.
When I arrived to pick up my drink, it was not ready, which I found odd since I ordered 5 minutes in advance (side note, the Starbucks App even prompted me to consider waiting to order until I was closer so that my drink would be "fresh"). They were not busy at all, at least 4-5 associates conversing with each other, with the lone barista lady making a drink or two. She finishes whatever she's doing, and checks in with another customer who was waiting to pick-up her drinks. Something might have been up with their mobile ordering system so I try to wait patiently for her to finish helping that other lady.
After she finishes that order, she starts doing whatever else (cleaning maybe?), clearly not working on any drinks. At this point it's been like 5+ minutes and I'm feeling a bit ignored and frustrated so I walk all the way through the empty line to go up to a register, where I inform the associate that I'm waiting for a mobile order drink and am wondering when it will be done.
She seems a bit confused at first, looks at my mobile app receipt, checks her computer or display, comes up with an answer initially that "oh other people ordered first so they're working on those drinks right now." I give a somewhat skeptical look and she checks back on my receipt and notes I ordered over 10 minutes ago. She goes quiet at this point and proceeds to make my drink for me.
According to her, their machine ran out of printed labels and mine happened just at the time where it got marked as printed/completed before getting refilled or something? Sounds a bit sloppy to me but I understand that these sorts of things are overlooked.
It's just that there's been such a history of messed up orders here that I am done giving them the benefit of the doubt. Some examples of past order mishaps:
-Cold drink prepared, instead of the hot one I order (e.g. Matcha Green Tea Latte w/ Almond Milk) -on a couple of these occasions (yes, they mixed up hot/cold drinks several times actually), when they remade the drink, they made it with regular milk instead of the sub almond milk, meaning I paid extra for them to mess up essentially. -similarly, if they were out of the Matcha Green Tea Creme Frappuccino w/ Almond Milk that I order and offer a replacement Frappuccino, the difference was not refunded - again, paying extra for an experience less than what I ordered/expected.

Read moreCame through drive thru this morning at about 10:18 am my order was about &30.00 with breakfast egg&sausage wrap, impossible sandwich, apple crisp croissant venti pumpkin spice latte& venti pikes place coffee . Pikes place coffee lid was not put on right, coffee lid came off and spilled on my spouse. He noticed it was white water& cream ? Went back to the drive thru and drove to the window . I placed the drink on the drive thru counter and let the worker (her ) know that there is no coffee ? it is a venti cup full of water with cream . She was bothered I complained and instead of apologizing she rudely says we don’t take drinks back ? I left it on the drive thru counter cause that was rude I was not asking to take it back but placed it on the counter so she can see it was not coffee. I asked nicely if I can get a replacement pikes place coffee and she rudely said of course you are going to get a new one . she was very bothered at this point! She then continued to say the coffee beans might of not came down so it was only water ( when I was a barista at Starbucks pikes place coffee was made like a regular coffee pot and beans were for espresso machine ? like why not apologize and just have it re made? Makes me wonder why they did not look in the cup prior to putting a lid on it . ( the cup had a sticker that said venti pikes place) Worker got on her head set to explain the issue not knowing I could hear her ! ( how rude is that ?) I have never encountered an unhappy employee at a Starbucks like today ! Customers are always right when it comes to preparing what they are paying for. ( when I was a barista Starbucks it was a fun job to work for and everyone smiled and greeted the customer) I highly recommend you double check your order prior to driving off ! ( to the worker from a manager perspective I highly recommend you just apologize to the customer and just have the order re- made in reality it was not your fault but you made it a bigger problem for...
Read moreRant ..As a 57-year resident of this area, I am compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the Starbucks location on South Park Victoria. The store's configuration and drive-through have long been a safety concern, and my recent visit underscored this issue. The drive-through line was remarkably long, with 20 vehicles waiting. I chose to park and enter the store, finding only two patrons inside. Nonetheless, my simple coffee order took 15 minutes, with staff attributing the delay to online orders. Considering the drive-through line's length, I found this justification unsatisfactory and requested a refund due to inadequate customer service attitudes and excuses Upon departure, I noted the empty drive-through line and recorded it. I plan to address this incident with the district manager to ensure improved customer service and employee are held responsible for said actions and disrespect !! needless to say 15 minutes later nobody in the store nobody in the lines outside in the drive-through and I was still waiting for my coffee. I left there pissed off and forgot to grab my tip money chock it up. I will be calling corporate!! You ladies need to learn some customer service and understand just because people come in there you don’t get to disrespect them me waiting 15 minutes when over 25 cars went through that drive-through and I was the only customer in there waiting for my drip coffee with a shot of espresso is terrible and disgusting and then for you to have an attitude with me when I question why I’m waiting so long Is unprofessional! Yes, my friend is a district manager for Starbucks and heard the whole conversation. Oh and that tip that I left you keep it you...
