This is my local Target and I love it. I visit it frequently for a variety of my staple household needs: grocery (produce, dairy, nut butter, chocolates, bread, tea, coffee, ...), cosmetic and pharmacy supplies (over the counter medication, face washes, hair care products, feminine products and other toiletry, ...), kitchen supplies (glassware, silverware, my current coffee maker), garments and accessories (denim wear, footwear, belts, undergarments, sportswear, winter wear like warm cozy socks and mufflers), craft materials (paints, mounting boards, bird houses, confetti, Christmas ornaments, storage boxes), entertainment and fitness equipment (dumbbells, DVDs). When I run my errands here, I always make it a point to walk around most of my favorite isles (chiefly the ones where the above supplies would be found) to look for seasonal deals. I love their greeting card collection (Papyrus and Carlton being my absolute favorites, though a bit pricey). Right at the entrance, they have a little section with a small subset of their cute low-priced knick-knacks such as craft supplies (paints, birdhouses, faux plants, kids craft and school supplies), electronics (chargers, headphones), apparel (hats, sun glasses, scarfs); I love loitering there for a few minutes on my way in or out. This store turns into a carnival between Thanksgiving and Christmas; that's my favorite time to visit to pick up some of my yearly supply of Christmas ornaments and winter clothing and just to take in the positive holiday...
Read moreBeware of buying gift cards in this store either it is a target or a third party gift card like visa/master etc. I bought a $200 visa card recently and when my friend try to redeem it surprisingly this is already redeemed in the target store by someone after I purchased and activated it. When I tried to file a complaint about this no one is really helpful either the store managers or the target gift relation (very rude and trying to escape rather than investigating and resolving the issue). At some point during my conversations they accepted they aware of such situations being cards are scammed in their stores. In my opinion it might be either their store workers who might be tampering the cards or the Target itself might be doing this (making it behaving like a cheap e-com companies trick) Target gift relations - Please have some patience and learn how to speak to customers in hearing them and solving the issues rather than pushing it to third party vendors. When a customer is buying it from Target then it’s Target responsibility of taking care of such issues. You want to make money by wending these vendor gift cards in your store, but when time comes with any issues you are escaping from the problem rather than helping the customer. I wish I could have raised a consumer complaint to initiate the investigation on the store to find out where this gift card tampering is happening. My strong feeling is it is...

I went into selecting the items I needed and I looked for the coupon(s). I paid for my items i was stopped and asked with attitude to show my receipt for the items I had in my shopping bag. I asked "what items? if i was at Walmart instead of target. The young lost prevention employee answered "you concealed items in your bag its my job to catch people like you who are not here as a guest. I have been doing this for 3years and have heard all the lame excuses people like you come up with." As I was about to answered the security guard approaches the lost prevention employee and tells him "that's not the girl it's the one that was behind her at the checkout line." I told him I demand to talk to the manager to complain for the false accusations and that I needed corporate number. The lost (prevention) employee while turning around and walking away answered "you can find it online" I asked for his name as well he said "that he wasn't allowed to give me his name"...
