Always....always....allllways, the best prepared vegetables...period! Always good to eat. All in CONUS Chinese is American Fusion, p e r i o d ! The man is more Southern American in his prep, but, as you can see from most of the reviews, it all works out. Do NOT pay attention to the meanies who make comments that seem to contrast the majority! One said she got some digestive issues....I could be meaner than her, but, I will say her illness was from something "else", because I have NEVER been ill from eating at Nims...ever....I've eaten there more times than I can count. Some folks don't know the fight this man fought to get here in the United States, to breathe freedom & then to embrace it. Rock ON NIMS! I love y'all!! I can't figure where the bad reviews are coming from? Even under pressure, my experience has always been above average. I guess my words are best, and it's CONSISTENCY. Veggies are always FRESH, never overpowered with seasoning, and never overcooked...that's critical. The spring & egg rolls are perfect. The CHICKEN WINGS......OOOOOHHHH LORD! The sweet / sour / sriracha sauce??? I think ? WOW..AMAZING! Get over here, make a plate, sit down,...
Read moreThis the first time I have ever posted a review about a restaurant. I visited about 1:30 on Fri..right after my work out at Planet Fitness. I normally go to China buffet..however Its across town..it next door very convenient. I sampled all the dishes..I found all the dishes very bland ..shrimp ..chicken beef.even the crab ragoon .I am very good cook at home..I cook Asian and Indian food fresh. The egg rolls and dumpling were O.K nothing special..It just was not savory not whole lot of flavor. The waitress and staff was friendly clean bathroom.I had gone there couple years ago with my Mom ..I remember it was the same..I think they were closed for a while and have reopened..the bill was 14.86 I though maybe lunch would about $9-10.00..I will make the trip across town to China buffet.they have sushi..and have twice the selection..and the food. Is very tasty and savory ..that just my oppinion..The only one better is Chow Tyme..on 9th in Pcola..and I don't recommend the Panda everything is bland and heavyly breaded yuck. I give it .1 However Chow Tyme being a 10... 12.95 for lunch .. I give Nims a 3 ..Next time I go to PHO' on Avalon is Vietnamese and it delicious..I...
Read moreI showed up at 11:00am right when they opened and was immediately greeted with smiling employees who welcomed me into the restaurant and told me to sit wherever I liked. Food was fresh out of the kitchen and plentiful with lots of flavor. They have general Tso's chicken and know how to cook it! Don't let the size of the place fool you, it may be small and humble but the buffet is loaded! I tried most of their chickens, beef, and broccolis and was not disappointed. My table was very clean and there wasn't a spec of food on my seating. Lastly the chopsticks are the bamboo Chinese ones. A small detail that makes all the difference. I can't stand the places that cheap out on chopsticks and get that poor quality wood that splinters as soon as you pull them apart. Only one thing came to mind during my visit that I could possibly critique. The cheese Rangoon was cheese but the cheese tasted very artificial. That was my only complaint. The rest of the food, the professionalism, and the cleanliness were all superior. I would gladly spend my money at this local Milton business and...
