Vintage Pizzeria — Restaurant in Milton

The pizza is fine here, I used to enjoy it from time to time for pick up, but I realized that they have delivery setup through doordash, and since I am solo parenting, and can't leave, that option seemed great.

I put in an order at around 4:30 and set it up to deliver at 7:15. Thats a pretty big heads up. I got all the notifications, the order was placed, etc. At about 6:45 I get a message saying my pizza will be here at 7:15, perfect. 7:20 rolls around, I'm looking forward to it. Its a little late, no problem. Then at 7:26 I get a notification that my order was cancelled... Thats it, no warning. I call the restaurant and apparently all delivery orders were paused, and I could come in to pick something up. No I cannot. And looking to place a new order says the delivery time would be 55-70 minutes. Or will it just be cancelled with no warning? who knows.

I am not happy that the order was just cancelled, a heads up would have been great, and I am honestly not happy with the response from the staff. If you are getting pizza delivered, I recommend choosing anywhere else. I am now waiting for a delivery from Antico instead. I think if it were just the cancellation, and the response from the staff had been a little more understanding, I think I could see myself getting pickup here again (definitely never delivery), but at this point I doubt I'll order here at all. Thankfully its just me hungry right now, I cant imagine getting a cancellation like this with kids in the house...

Been to this place twice. Great food but the waitress was horrible. Both times I was there she tended to my male friends and totally ignored me. They got their drinks refilled three times and I didn't even get one. Today I found a hair on top of my pasta but my friend was just being silly and ate it. Gross. When it came to pay I asked if they take a hundred dollar bills which BTW it doesn't say anywhere that they don't. She said yes but I don't have enough a change for a hundred. I asked what if I pay my other friend's bill will she have change she said no. I asked what if I pay my third friend's bill will she have change she said no. After my friend asked well how should I pay if it doesn't say anywhere no hundred dollar bills and that's all I have. She just grabbed my bill and said fine, never mind I'll just figure it out. My bill was 25 they each had a pizza one medium one large I am pretty sure the whole thing would have been over sixty dollars so I don't understand how she wouldn't be able to break a hundred. So anyways rude, angry faced with glasses waitress the 15% tip I left on a bill that was 23 and change before taxes, you weren't even worth that 3 dollars and 54 cents. I was embarrassed to leave such a small tip but you didn't even deserve that. If it was one time I would say ok maybe you were having a bad day, but both times I was there I realized maybe, just maybe you should look for a job where you will not be in contact with any humans or any other...

I have come to their Trivia Night on Thursday many times. But over the past few times I have gone, I've seen the prices rise a great deal. However, The quality of my favorite dish, the calzone, has declined. It is made with cheap cheese that ends up being way too chunky.

At the end of the meal, The check informed that I am forced to pay an 18% gratuity despite being there for only an hour and having a party of 4. She told me that they "reserve the right" to do that. So however high the price is just be sure to add an additional 18% onto that.

I really would not have minded the 18% tip if service wasn't so poor. The waitress never got a drink for me, didn't smile, and didn't even tell me her name.

All in all, your money would be much better spent elsewhere. For the 30-40 dollars you'd spend here, it would be better just to dine at one of the many finer establishments...
