The place is set up to be more bar and pub than a place to eat. Very small old house in Crabapple converted to a drinking place. Mostly high top tables and then the bar which is the focal point. There were only 3 regular 4-person tables inside the place up front. There is a large deck added onto the original stone house and it seems that that is where they expect people to really eat. Except that its 95 degrees out here in GA.
After sitting down indoors and looking at the two sided plastic menu, we were informed by the bar tendant that if we want food we have to order at the bar. So we sent two of us up with our four orders. We ordered the smash burgers with fries, no appetizers, 2 extra side salads instead of fries which had a $3 upcharge for each salad. 3 regular beers, one pink rose type gin drink and one NA beer. No dessert cause they have none to offer. Burgers came in plastic baskets with the fries. Plastic utensils were available on the table. Not a lot of fries I will add. All this came to $140 including tip for the four of us.
I want to also mention that being Sunday, it was not a lot of people there but it still felt crowded due to how small the house is and the parking lot really only fits about 4 or 5 cars in the back of the building. Rest of the cars had to parallel park by a curb which made getting out of the normal 4-5 allowed cars very hard. I can’t imagine what the parking would be like on a Friday or...
Read moreThis is a great place to come hangout and have drinks. There are food options if you want something to eat.
This is not a sit-down restaurant with waiter service. You will be disappointed if this is your expectation. However, if you like the brewery like experience where you go to the bar to get your own drinks and place your food orders and just hang out, this is an excellent place. The beer selection is not limited to what a brewery brews, and they have a full bar for mixed drinks.
Seating is open with no host to seat you. Grab whatever's open. There is a large deck with lots of seating. Some of the deck seating is under a roof in case it's raining. The rest have umbrellas. There are open areas in front and back with picnic tables.
Service was excellent. The bar staff was awesome and attentive when placing orders and closing out our tab. If you place a food order, you will get a numbered sign that the food runners will use to bring out your food. They also checked back to see how our food was.
The food was good and came out quick and hot. The menu is not extensive, but there is a good selection of appetizers, burgers, and sandwiches.
Parking on site is limited, but as other reviewers have mentioned, you can park in the deck across the street. You can also park next door, in the non-posted spots, and walk up the stairs in the back.
All outside areas are...
Read moreI decided to try this restaurant out on doordash. It had really great reviews, and I was excited to give it a shot. Unfortunately, I was charged $9 for a pie I never received, didn't get any dressing at all with my salad or the cheese I paid extra for. The portion of chicken they give you for your salad is also very small. The sweet potato tots do taste great, though, and the salad is very fresh. I'm disappointed and really wanted to have a better experience ordering from here.
Update: I tried reaching out and was never contacted. I also decided to give them another try tonight on doordash and I've wasted another $30 🙃 no sauces, no dressing for my salad, VERY hard to chew chicken, undercooked sweet potato tots, and weird tasting cake when I ordered a pie...
