UPDATE: went again today 3/1/25, Saturday around 3:30 pm and it was CLOSED!!!!!! I don’t understand how a restaurant can be so inconsistent. Maybe the hours need to be updated. The hours say from 1 pm to 1 am. Is that not the case ?

Super disappointed. I really wanted to try this place. Showed up between 3-4 and places my order. About 20 minutes later I was told my order was cancelled due to them running out of food. I was kind of confused because how you can run out of food if you just opened at 1pm according to the Google maps hours? First time eating any of their food, which was the soul food this past Sunday. I have the deep fried salmon, macaroni and cheese, cornbread dressing, coleslaw, topped with a cornbread muffin. Everything was equivalent to eating in heaven if I ever witnessed such.

No exaggeration. These people are of no friends or relationship as far I know, so I have nothing to gain by trying to promote on their behalf or because of the fact we’re black.

I really felt good all over knowing I was cheating my strict all salad, vegetables, fruit, and herbal tea fast/diet that day.

They really earned my 5 stars across the board. Good people, good service, good atmosphere, and great soul...

My rating is actually a 2.7 out of 5. The menu was limited but tasted pretty good. It was the presentation for me. Take out plates and utensils to dine in to the point I was like no we are doing dine in and was told they heard us correctly. So that was a minus. Also for the cost of everything on my take out container no way that should cost $15. I had a smothered leg quarter green beans and corn. On a good day that was worth $8/9. I don't like a majority of soul food in Milwaukee because it taste lazy but this place will get a return out of me at least. Hopeful they...
