Babes Ice Cream & Dessert — Restaurant in Milwaukee

**My visit was on 7/2/18 Ice cream was good, but I'm a little confused on my total bill I purchased a 2x double scoop waffle cones dipped in chocolate with nuts Which was 5.80 X2 =11.60 I had and used a buy one get free, up to $5.00 off So $11.60 - $5.00 = $9.81??? I paid $ 9.81 when my total without any coupons was going to be $11.60 I tried contacting a manger or someone in charge and was told the owner would contact me and nothing. I called twice after a few HOURS of waiting for a call back. My concern is their equipment isn't correctly ringing out customers or worse, purposely over charging the customer. Wasn't impressed by that, especially since this was my first impression. Don't know if I'll come back. ADDED PICTURE OF RECEIPT AS PROOF

Love the icecream but EVERYTIME I come in and the owner is there she treats her staff like garbage. These young teen girls take the brunt of her frustration and it’s pretty sad. She was training a girl once and was reprimanding her instead of teaching her the process to make a shake. I’d rather have my shake a soupy mess than watch her scream at her about the proper process (it was seemingly her first time making one). I could never imagine treating young staff this badly over icecream considering they dont make very much hourly as staff, yet they showed up and it’s probably their first job. So your ice cream truck was at Chill on the Hill tonight at Humbolt Park. The girl working the window was the rudest little girl ever. She gave my daughter some kind of ice cream with peanuts in a cone, my daughter says something and they literally dump it in a dish and send her on her way, giving her an attitude about it. My daughter is allergic to nuts. She ended up throwing it out and coming back to me and told me about what happened. I went back and the same rude little girl at the window gives me an attitude!
