I bought a groupon. Worth it. Just be careful to read the fine print of dates you are able to use it.
I went with three friends on a Thursday evening, which was their salsa dancing night, so it had a fun atmosphere.
It's a nice space with ample, comfortable seating, and the bathrooms are clean, the latter being a huge deal for me.
Hookah wise, It seems like they use either Al Fahkers or Starbuzz. They have the small hookahs with the built in windcovers. From what I observed, they did use quicklights instead of naturals, which always annoys the hell out of me since you're paying $20.00 bucks for a session that essentially costs $2.00, but I guess I was paying for ambiance and service. Ambiance, good. Service...meh.
The bartender was nice, if inattentive. He basically stood at the bar and never came to check on us, but he was helpful when asked. My bad for forgetting to pay tip on my groupon, so I will definitely be back to remedy that.

You got the area for bottle service you got the area for individuals that want to do individual drinks OK But what you don't have is the variety of hookah flavors like if you go sell a product sell a product... you can't serve hookah and only have like 2 or 3 flavors because 9 times out of 10 it's gonna be the 2 or 3 flavors that don't nobody want you need to have a variety and that's why we walked out.
But I do give big ups and kudos because the waitress answered all of our questions and if she didn't know the answer she figured it out and to the security guard that stopped us and wanted to know why we was leaving an asked where we was parked...so great customer service so I probably will be coming back hopefully you have more Hookah...

I celebrate Milwaukee's diversity. Revel was evidently popular with Milwaukee's African-American population. The bar brought back memories of my high school days in NYC, and I loved the music. While he asked for my identification, the bouncer joked with me, saw I was more than five decades over the drinking age, and told me to put the ID away, and he helped me order a drink. Everyone was warm, and several people even complimented me on my fedora. I only had one drink because my friends were afraid to come in. That's Milwaukee's problem.
