🗣️LONG POST ALERT 🚨 I came in last night for the first time a few days after a negative situation happened with a prominent customer that is very well known in our community, and was told on social media that this establishment and the owner was very negative rude and unprofessional. Unbeknownst to my self the kitchen closed at 9pm we arrived after 9 but was not informed of this and we were served anyway ( found out when I was paying for my food) the food was amazing their price point is phenomenal so you are able to purchase multiple items on the menu. The establishment was clean welcoming and inviting. Upscale decor, nice R&B music so this restaurant is great for a first date, family night out, or a guy or girls night out. Drinks were delicious and strong. During our time there we found out about Gospel Sundays 11-5 and every 1&3 Wednesday is karaoke and every 1 & 3 Friday they have a live band and Thursdays & Fridays” MAJORITY” of their menu is on HAPPY HOUR! I met the owner and his daughter and was informed this was a family ran business and most of the family members quit their jobs to come work for the family business full time. DONT NEVER LET WHAT YOU SEE ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR WHAT SOMEONE SAYS ABOUT AN ESTABLISHMENT MAKE A DECISION FOR YOU! They gained a few new customers and we will be back JANUARY 4 2025 TO CELEBRATE THEIR ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! I had never heard of this place but when I was invited to a party I was excited but shortly disappointed I went to the bar to order a drink and there was only one bartender for a party that was over 40 people the bartender was a female who had an attitude problem I kid you not it took 35 to 40 minutes to get a drink and she did not care she talked to people and made the drinks slow then she forgot a friend's drink. And when he reminded her she had said she gave him the drink but he actually ordered two of the same of the same drinks. Another friend paid for about eight drinks and his bill was around $200 another friend ordered three drinks which I believe she did order shots her bill was $75. Probably about 10 to 15 minutes later a second bartender came that was a male and he was no better than the female bartender they both acted like they didn't want to be there I asked for a drink and another person's drink at the same time because the service was ridiculously slow and I didn't want to call over the bartender again the bartender asked was the drinks on separate bills I said yes however there was a card on file that was going to pay for a drink so when he delivered the drink I told him to put the drink on the card that was on file he got an attitude and said you didn't tell me, well he didnt ask either that I said fine I'll pay with another card then had to wait 10 minutes just to get the pen to fill out the receipt. Never again..... we left... oh dont get the lemon drop its nasty i dont know what lemondade they use but...

This place is an entire VIBE!!!! We went on a Friday evening. The staff is amazing. Our server was Zahria, and she was just as cute as her name. She was the sweetest ever. Her parents definitely raised her RIGHT. She was so accommodating and kind.

The atmosphere was incredible. Very sultry and grown!!! If you keep the “rift rafts and minions” away, this will certainly be a hott spot for a very mature and “act right” crowd, and this place will be around for a long time. KEEP YOUR REPUTATION STELLAR!!!

The food was good. We had the salmon bites and fries. I was surprised at the portion. In my opinion, my food came in a cereal bowl which was shocking but I survived. We also had the Bronzeville burger and fries. It pains me to say this . . . The fries were just okay. They were soft, limp and lukewarm, but I survived. Maybe fry them a little longer and use a different kind like a crinkle cut, shoestring or steak fry. Don’t cut them yourself. Save yourself some time and labor. Okay - I’m doing too much so I’ll chill out.

Overall, this is a fantastic place. It’s very clean, warm and inviting. It is decorated beautifully, and I simply loved the chandeliers. Bronzeville Kitchen and Lounge is a gem. Shine on my new...
